Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that fans have been reacting to some social media buzz about Kate Roberts Brady’s (Lauren Koslow) potential departure. There’s a lot of confusion over Koslow’s future at the show, so let’s clear up what we know so far.
For starters, we have to remember that Days films several months in advance.
Actors often leave and come back before anyone even notices that they’re gone, so that’s something to keep in mind.
We also know that Lauren Koslow took some time off for her daughter’s wedding trip back in October, which could affect her airtime soon.
That might explain Kate’s vanishing act since DOOL hasn’t yet revealed her fate following her showdown with Bo Brady (Peter Reckell).
However, Kate obviously wasn’t murdered by a brainwashed Bo offscreen! Bo decided he was done taking orders from Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) anyway, so he clearly didn’t shoot Kate.
That said, where Kate is now remains a mystery – and she’s not featured in Days spoilers for the week of March 27-31.
The show may leave things up in the air regarding Kate since Koslow spent time away from the studio for that wedding trip we mentioned.
Regardless, Koslow returned following her travels and resumed filming.
It’s possible all this exit buzz stems from confusion about that requested time off, which was just a little break.
Then again, Lauren Koslow has been focusing more on her family in recent months. Work may be taking a backseat, so that could lead to another exit down the road or at least some reduced airtime.
Bottom line, this offscreen gunshot situation is NOT Kate’s exit since we know she indeed filmed more scenes.
Kate may be written for a bit since Koslow took some personal time, but that doesn’t mean Kate is gone.
If a more official exit is looming, it would have to be something that happens several months from now.
That’s possible considering the revolving door of comings and goings news at Days, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
