Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, January 9, teases that Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) will try to make sense of a world without Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) in it. That’ll be easier said than done as Roman cries by Kate’s corpse and says a tough goodbye.
At Statesville, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will send Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and Orpheus (George DelHoyo) to their corners when he catches them clashing.
After Rex phones Lucas with the news that Kate didn’t make it, Lucas will resort to violence and try to make Orpheus pay.
That’ll lead to John once again leaping into action as he witnesses this prison crisis and shuts down the scuffle.
Back at the hospital, Days spoilers say Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will grow weak and struggle to even speak.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will share some sweet declarations of love and try to keep Kayla’s heart beating as long as he can.
At the Kiriakis mansion, DOOL fans can expect Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) to hit the sheets.
What should’ve been a special first time making love will lead to a total disaster.
Although Stephanie will enjoy herself, she won’t realize she’s missing Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) attempts to reach out. That’ll be due to Alex’s controlling decision to shut off Stephanie’s phone.
Days spoilers say Chad will finally just show up in person and insist Stephanie has to get to the hospital ASAP.
Alex will realize he’s blown it big time, but he’ll keep his mouth shut while Stephanie rushes to be with ailing Kayla.
Alas, Stephanie won’t make it before Kayla flatlines, so she’ll sob over not getting to express her love one last time.
Steve will hold Stephanie as they suffer through this horrible loss together.
Meanwhile, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will find out Kate has passed on – and then she’ll get devastating info on Kayla as well.
Despite how sick Marlena is, it looks like she’ll give Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) a little tough love when it comes to his new bad boy status.
Of course, Marlena’s version of tough love will still be pretty gentle in the end.
Days spoilers say Marlena just won’t want Eric to stray from who he is at his core, so they’ll have a heartfelt chat.
However, Eric will have at least one more bad boy moment as he whips out a gun and points it at Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).
It’ll be Eric’s way of putting Kristen to the test and trying to make sure she truly doesn’t have the orchid.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say there’ll be no time to make another serum vial anyway, but Kristen has truly lost track of where the orchid is at this point.
