General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, November 17, reveals that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) offered to make Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) her permanent deputy mayor just before Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) interrupted.
Cyrus had news to share with Laura, who learned he got a job washing dishes at the Port Charles Grill.
Laura eventually urged Cyrus to leave, so Jordan admitted she didn’t believe Cyrus would settle for a simple life as a dishwasher.
However, Jordan was done obsessing over Cyrus and agreed to remain in the deputy mayor role instead of resuming her job as Port Charles’ police commissioner.
At GH, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) voiced his fears to Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) shutting him out, but Felicia felt like Anna had to find her own way past what happened with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).
When Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) showed up at the dorm, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) let him in the room and pointed out how overboard Spencer had gone on apology flower arrangements.
Since Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) wasn’t there, Josslyn used this as an opportunity to give Spencer some advice about Trina, Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) and Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).
This couldn’t be like when Spencer was a kid and refused to accept less than everything he wanted.
Spencer had to choose this time – and Josslyn clearly thought that he should choose Trina.
Meanwhile, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) gave Trina some guidance about speaking honestly with Spencer and letting him know she’d reached her limit.
With Marshall and Curtis’ help, Trina acknowledged that Spencer was the most important relationship in her life, so she needed to find out if it was the same for him.
At Kelly’s, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) brought Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) by so that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) could tell him about Nina Corinthos’ (Cynthia Watros) offer to sell back her half of the Metro Court.
Michael flashed back to demanding Nina make that offer before Willow insisted it was the perfect way to heal their family.
Although Michael offered the funds, Carly turned him down and felt she had to turn down Nina, too.
As badly as Carly wanted her hotel back, she said it wouldn’t feel like hers if she couldn’t get it on her own.
At the Metro Court, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had dinner with Nina and confronted her about why she wanted to sell back her half of the Metro Court to Carly.
Nina acted like it was a way to leave the past behind, but Sonny asked why she didn’t tell him.
Although Nina claimed it was just business and had nothing to do with Sonny, he thought this involved their whole family.
In the end, Sonny appreciated Nina being the bigger person and trying to make peace.
At the PCPD, Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) met with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and wanted an immunity deal in exchange for the name of his boss.
Austin pointed out it was a risk coming there since his boss could find out – and if that happened before his boss was in custody, then Austin insisted he was a dead man.
Since Austin didn’t want to give testimony in court, Dante pointed out that he’d need other evidence. Austin said he could do that, so Dante pushed Austin to bring the proof and then he’d talk to the DA about a deal.
Austin told Dante that he wasn’t a bad guy and that he was just coerced into doing a lot of things that were wrong.
Now Dante was giving Austin the opportunity to finally do the right thing, so Austin expressed his gratitude.
Later, Dante told Robert that Austin was willing to give up his boss’ name and corroborating evidence, so Robert gave him the green light on an immunity deal.
At the house in Pautuck, Austin opened the door and expressed surprise over who was standing there offscreen.
The mystery shooter – who was wearing what appeared to be men’s dress shoes – fired two shots at Austin and left him lifeless on the floor with a bloody chest.
