General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, October 30, reveals that Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) surprised Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) with a friendly reunion, so they discussed Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) betraying Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) before talk turned to the old neighborhood.
Lois admired pics of Sonny’s grandchildren and got him talking about his elopement with Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) as well.
After Lois quizzed Sonny about his drama with the feds and made them something in the kitchen, they reflected on how much they’d missed each other.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn was ready to meet with Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) and officially sign her as a client today.
Brook Lynn filled in “Eddie Maine” aka Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), but Tracy interrupted and pushed her granddaughter to focus on a real future at Deception instead of music.
After Brook Lynn clashed with Tracy and stomped off, “Eddie” acted like Tracy needed to learn to take no for an answer.
When Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) came along, Tracy ranted at her for not putting Ned through psychotherapy and hinted that maybe Olivia preferred “Eddie.”
Olivia made it clear that it was “Eddie’s” choice, so he thanked her privately. Although Olivia was supportive, she admitted to “Eddie” that she’d always miss her husband.
At Charlie’s Pub, Blaze chatted with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and grew annoyed over Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) pressuring her to become the new Face of Deception.
When Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) entered with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Blaze acknowledged that Sasha was who she’d be taking over for.
After Blaze exchanged introductions with Sam and Sasha, she headed off to run an errand and said to tell Brook Lynn that she’d be back.
Once Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) met up with Sam and Sasha, they all discussed some penthouse renovations that Sasha and Cody were happy to help with.
Meanwhile, Blaze found Lucy with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and let her know she was turning down the Face of Deception offer.
Blaze also made it clear that she thought Sasha should remain in the role.
Although Lucy wasn’t happy about this development, she relented and let Tracy know she was getting her wish.
Lucy warned that it’d be the last decision Tracy made for Deception, but Tracy remained confident about her control of the company.
Once Blaze made it back to Brook Lynn at Charlie’s Pub, she officially signed on as BLQ’s client. Kristina was a witness and brought over some booze for a celebration.
At the bar, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) joined Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and said they needed to talk about Austin’s cousin.
Austin didn’t care about Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey), but he was grateful to TJ for stopping him from throwing away his career and entire future.
A flashback revealed that TJ had rushed in and stopped Austin from smothering Mason since he wasn’t worth it.
However, TJ later returned to Mason’s room at GH and basically gloated about how Mason would have to suffer even more due to a lengthy prison sentence.
At the gallery, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) caught up with Ava Jerome (Maura West) and was so glad to see she was OK after her kidnapping ordeal.
That conversation also brought updates on Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) withdrawing money from the bank in Geneva. Since Nikolas did it in person, Ava reeled over the news that Nik was for sure alive.
After Laura left, Ava got Austin on the phone and summoned him to the gallery. Once Austin arrived, Ava called him out on being drunk and mentioned Laura’s new proof of Nikolas’ survival.
Austin suggested that was great since it meant no more blackmail, but Ava was suspicious as she grilled Austin about whether he knew Nikolas was alive before now.
Austin claimed he’d been in the dark and urged Ava not to believe anything Mason said. Once Austin pushed Ava to believe him instead, Ava admitted the scary thing was that she really wanted to.
In Vermont, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) grew closer as they ended the night making love. In bed afterward, Finn held Liz in his arms and turned off the light.
General Hospital spoilers say Liz and Finn’s relationship will come with some twists and turns down the road, so stay tuned.
