General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) finally has a bone marrow donor, so the procedure is all set. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has been cleared to donate, but there’s still a chance for the situation to go horribly wrong.
Willow’s transplant is scheduled for tomorrow in soap time, so she’s starting to get nervous about what’s ahead.
The Nurses Ball will provide a nice distraction for Willow since she plans to settle in on the sofa at home and watch it with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
Unfortunately, Willow could have another reason to stress about the procedure soon. In fact, Willow may worry that it’s not going to happen at all!
Let’s look at the facts and pair them up with some typical soap logic.
For starters, it seems significant that Willow’s transplant is set for the day after the Nurses Ball – a night when things always go off the rails and end in disaster.
We also know Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is set to make some bold moves as the walls close in.
Victor has always had an obsession with Liesl and has kidnapped her before, so there’s nothing stopping him from doing it again.
That’s especially true since Victor wants a queen for his kingdom.
Victor previously thought Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) might be the one to support him through the storm that’s brewing, but she betrayed him in the end.
That still leaves Victor in need of someone formidable who can ride the next wave with him.
Victor plans to leave Port Charles soon, but it’s tough to imagine he’ll do it alone.
Considering the timing, Victor could take Liesl hostage and hope she’ll come around to loving him one day.
It’s not like Victor will care about Willow’s transplant and may actually prefer if she died.
All signs point to Victor being the one who hired the gunman who went after Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Now Sonny seems poised to turn Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) against his great-uncle, so Victor might think letting the fiancée of Sonny’s son perish is payback.
If Victor ends up snatching Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) as well, then he could even offer Liesl a chance to be a mother again.
Victor could prey on how much Liesl misses Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) as part of his plan.
GH spoilers say Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be worried sick during the week of April 10-14, so she could easily fear for kidnapped Liesl and for Willow if she suddenly has no donor.
Bottom line, a lot can happen between now and “tomorrow” on a soap!
The night of the Nurses Ball will turn into a total catastrophe, so there’s no guarantee Liesl will be around for the transplant by morning.
Will Liesl vanish before the transplant and leave Willow in a panic? Could Victor be to blame if Obrecht doesn’t show up for the appointment?
