General Hospital Update: Thursday, March 23 – Liz’s Fate - Spencer & Esme’s Challenge – Curtis & Jordan Reconnect

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, March 23, teases that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will have an offer for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) to consider – though it may turn out to be more of a request if she wants him on stage at the Nurses Ball.

Maxie will eventually announce something exciting at Kelly’s with Cody by her side.

It looks like Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will be around to hear Maxie’s important updates.

Cody may also clash with Gladys, who sold Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage to cover her gambling debts following Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) poker games.

That’s not the story Gladys gave Sasha, who could easily score more info from Cody and confront her mother-in-law over the lie.

While Sasha leaves Gladys taken aback, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will shock Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) in her office.

Alexis still won’t get why Gregory is being so cagey and refusing to let his sons offer any kind of support.

Since Alexis is convinced that Gregory might be hiding a drinking problem, he may come clean about his actual diagnosis.

Gregory is likely facing a health battle that could turn deadly, so he may insist he doesn’t want to weigh Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) down with his own problems.

Chase and Finn have enough on their plates as far as Gregory’s concerned, but Alexis may argue that they’d want to comfort their father through his tough circumstances.

As for Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) future at GH, the ethics committee will decide her fate extremely fast.

That’ll leave Liz wondering if it’s a good thing or a bad thing as she frets to Terry Randolph (Cassandra James).

There’s a good chance all Elizabeth’s supporters helped her keep her position at the hospital, so some positive news may be headed her way soon.

Next, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will fear that her marriage to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) may already be over, but Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will still see the potential for the newlyweds to salvage things.

At Charlie’s Pub, Curtis will reflect on Portia lying about Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) paternity mystery – and he’ll remember the work secrets he dumped Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) over, too.

Curtis may wonder if he should’ve cut Jordan some slack back then and question if they’d still be together if he had.

Jordan will always keep Curtis in her heart, but it seems she’ll give him a push to repair the damage with Portia anyway.

At Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) place, she’ll try to guide Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) down a helpful motherhood path. Laura will want to be a role model and give Esme the tools she needs to be a great mom.

However, Laura may think putting Ace first means accepting help, even from Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) since he already adores his baby brother.

Esme, on the other hand, may struggle over the idea of compromising with Spencer or trusting him at all.

Meanwhile, Trina will hear how Esme stood against the idea of moving above Kelly’s without Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).

Since Esme wanted to stay with her son, she proposed the offscreen solution of moving in Laura’s home with Ace in tow.

Now Esme and Ace have their own room, so Trina will be wary since things already aren’t going according to plan.

Spencer will try to ease Trina’s mind and perhaps point out that he’s still focused on getting Ace away from Esme.

It may take longer than Spencer would like, but he might hint about Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) pulling strings to help him win custody.

Spencer will also talk about the last thing he wants, so he may fret over this situation pushing Trina away.

Esme’s presence alone brings up a lot of traumatic memories for Trina, but Spencer could always live with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) again or even get his own home if this arrangement bothers her.

As for Trina, she may assure Spencer that he should do whatever’s best for Ace.

Since Ace could benefit from having his older brother around, Trina may push Spencer to concentrate on the baby and keep a close eye on Esme.

General Hospital spoilers say living under the same roof will pose a challenge for Esme and Spencer, so stick with the ABC soap.
