General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, May 30, teases that Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will have a goal to accomplish when she meets with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), but we should mention that a repeat episode will air on Monday, May 29.
If you missed Sonya Eddy’s (Epiphany Johnson) last show back in October 2022, then this is your chance to catch it.
GH will return with an all-new episode on Tuesday, May 30, which brings us back to Diane’s real motive for meeting with Robert.
Although Diane and Robert will discuss Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) abrupt departure and where that leaves them, Diane will carry out Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) mission, too.
Sonny wants Diane to use Robert as a connection and find out any information she can about the tip to the SEC.
If Diane can at least get confirmation that there was indeed a tip and this wasn’t some ploy on the justice department’s part, that’ll be a nice start.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also talk to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) about Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) potentially being a means to an end if the government is really after Sonny.
Since Nina and Olivia will agree Carly isn’t sending Sonny to prison, Nina will point out that either Carly or Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will have to go down instead.
After mentioning that Olivia is good friends with both Drew and Carly, Nina will ask if Olivia thinks one might turn against the other to save themselves.
Olivia may admit she’s not sure, but Nina will suggest there’s only one way to find out.
It sounds like Nina will count on Olivia to test the waters with her pals and report back!
Once Sonny shows his support to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) during Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) procedure, Carly will speak with her ex-husband in private.
That could lead to another SEC conversation and another promise from Sonny that he’ll do whatever he can to help.
Sonny has encouraged Carly to turn against him if a deal is indeed offered, but she’ll stand by her decision to shut it down.
Next, Drew will seem rather glum as he tells Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) that the less she knows, the better.
Sam will fret over this insider trading drama since Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) would be crushed if she had to be separated from Drew again.
Drew can’t predict the future, but he’ll savor some fun time with Scout in the present and hope he can keep being a hands-on father.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will also move back in with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and let Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) know that marriage limbo is over.
Although Curtis is committed to trying again with his current wife, Stella may worry about his bond with his ex-wife getting in the way!
Curtis won’t spill the news of his kiss with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and will accept the warm homecoming he receives from Portia, even if things are a little tense.
Before Curtis can even get settled in, a phone call from the hospital will alert him to the DNA results being ready for pickup.
Curtis and Trina will both be nervous about the outcome, but Portia will hope everything works out and let fate take its course.
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will chat with someone over the phone about how fast life can change, so he’ll presumably be talking to Trina ahead of Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) will reading.
Look for Charles Shaughnessy to pop up for some scenes as Victor delivers a message following his death.
Victor may speak in a video once Laura Collins (Genie Francis) hosts this special event in her home.
Finally, Josslyn will hint about a backup plan during her next conversation with Trina, so maybe she’ll have another idea for how to save Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) from his Sonny problems.
