The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Friday, August 11 – Liam’s Intoxicating Steffy Memories – Finn Begs to End Separation

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, August 11, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) pleaded with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to come home and assured her that he was no longer vulnerable to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown)

Finn felt that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was the real threat to their marriage and mentioned that Liam confessed he was still in love with Steffy.

Although Steffy insisted this was about Sheila, Finn begged her not to let Liam get inside her head and come between them.

Steffy brought the conversation back to Sheila once more and felt that Finn obviously had conflicted feelings about her.

Finn acknowledged that Sheila was his birth mother, but Steffy snapped that she didn’t care and ranted about the horror Sheila had inflicted on their family.

Steffy asked if Finn had been in contact with Sheila or if she’d reached out, but he insisted the answer was no.

Finn hated the idea of Steffy viewing him as a threat because of his connection to Sheila and worked to convince her of how sorry he was.

After Finn said Steffy had to forgive him, he admitted he was wrong to ask her to cut Sheila some slack and treat her like some sort of hero.

Finn apologized for taking his eyes off Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) at the beach and felt that something just came over him when he hugged Sheila at the courthouse.

However, Finn assured Steffy that he believed Sheila belonged in prison.

Once Finn begged for another chance and got emotional over missing his family, he pointed out that he’d been apart from Steffy before and never wanted that to happen again.

As Finn wrapped up his powerful speech, he repeated his desperate request for Steffy to come home.

At Forrester Creations, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) flirted with a model before quizzing Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and seeking updates on her relationship with Liam.

Hope insisted the divorce papers had been signed, but RJ argued that they could tear them up.

Although RJ suggested Hope could keep fighting for her marriage, she felt this was about more than what happened in Italy.

This was also about Liam’s feelings for Steffy and how they’d always be there.

Hope didn’t think there was any chance of reconciling with Liam, especially now that Steffy had walked out on Finn.

At Spencer Publications on Friday’s B&B episode, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) asked Liam about his intentions and wondered if he wanted Steffy back.

Liam argued that he didn’t view the situation as an opportunity to make his move, but he did admit he still loved Steffy and always would.

Once Liam pointed out that he told Steffy that recently, he admitted Finn knew, too.

Liam didn’t see why he should hide his feelings and talked about what a remarkable woman Steffy was.

As Liam reflected on Ridge’s question of whether he wanted Steffy back, he confessed he didn’t know “how the hell” he ever let her go.

Liam said Steffy changed his life and taught him to embrace adventure.

It was intoxicating back when all that mattered to Steffy and Liam was their deep love for each other.

Liam acknowledged that they’d learned what it was like to hurt each other as well and said they’d made a lot of mistakes.

For Liam, he felt the biggest one was walking away from Steffy.

Although Liam didn’t know what the rest of the story would look like, he told Ridge there was no chapter where he’d make that mistake again.

Ridge finished off his drink and replied with a simple “OK” before leaving.

Once Liam was alone, he flashed back to romantic memories of Steffy and the life they used to share together.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam will hold out hope for another opportunity to get things right with Steffy, so stick with us for news on whether that’ll happen for him.
