The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, September 15, reveals that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) wanted to make sure that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) understood what was happening between them, so Thomas assured her that he knew it was “no strings.”
However, Hope was concerned about the way Thomas was looking at her and asked if this was going to be enough for him.
Thomas made it clear that he could handle this, so Hope decided she didn’t want to talk anymore and eventually accepted that he was on board with their agreement.
Hope and Thomas finished stripping down before hooking up on the sofa. After Thomas commented on the change in Hope, she admitted she’d discovered something she never knew existed – and she liked it.
Meanwhile, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) overheard a bit of Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and RJ Forrester’s (Joshua Hoffman) conversation, so he wondered what was going on.
When Carter learned RJ was helping Eric Forrester (John McCook) design a new line, he congratulated him and thought Ridge must be losing his mind with excitement.
Although Carter knew starting a new collection right now was risky, he pointed out that Forrester Creations’ first collection was a gamble that paid off.
Since Eric knew how to take risks and win, Carter refused to count out the great Eric Forrester.
At the Forrester mansion on Friday’s B&B episode, Eric assumed it bothered Ridge that after all this time, RJ was choosing to design with his grandad and not his father.
Ridge denied that and wondered if Eric was just looking for more drama in his life.
Eric wanted to be sure that Ridge wasn’t harboring some kind of resentment, so Ridge insisted Eric was the master and that there was no one better to teach RJ.
Ridge’s problem was this unnecessary collection, which was only going to bring stress and anxiety.
After Ridge pitched the idea of collaborating with Eric, RJ and Thomas, his dad shut him down since Ridge would still retain control of the line.
Eric couldn’t be more certain about doing his own legacy collection and refused to ride off into the sunset.
Ridge pointed out that the new collection might not succeed and didn’t understand why Eric needed more accolades.
Eric warned that he was the founder of this company, so Ridge didn’t get to tell him what to do.
“Don’t say I didn’t warn you,” Ridge said.
Since Ridge was at the top of his game and everything he touched turned to gold lately, he asked if Eric was sure about going up against him.
Eric insisted he was positive about settling this on the runway, but he secretly struggled with hand tremors after Ridge left.
