The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 7, reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) thought it was time to reunite with the love of her life. Although Brooke previously rejected Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), she felt she miscalculated when she put her friendship with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) first.
Now Brooke wanted a clean slate with Ridge and felt they just needed alone time to reconnect.
Ridge loved the idea of all that, but he also thought they had to be realistic and pointed out that they weren’t teenagers.
Since Brooke wanted to be done with all the apologies, Ridge suggested the best way to do that was not to put themselves in that situation anymore.
Ridge also felt that they needed to be honest about whether they could make this work and hinted they might just be a comfortable place to land for each other.
Although Ridge said his love would never change, he felt that history did change things.
Ridge wondered if destiny was just a word some writer made up when he didn’t know what to do with his characters at the end of the book.
Ridge didn’t want Brooke to get hurt, but Brooke felt that there was still passion between them and that there always would be.
After Brooke said she needed Ridge and that he needed her too, she pulled him into a warm embrace.
In the design office on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) told Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) they should just let their moms work out the drama between them.
Hope didn’t want this to interfere with their partnership, but she also couldn’t ignore Taylor’ betrayal and felt she was already involved.
Once Hope talked about Taylor’s repeated matchmaking efforts and Brooke’s lack of trust, she admitted she didn’t want to get in the middle of all that.
Thomas chuckled about it being Ridge’s job to be in the middle before the conversation turned to the upcoming fashion preview.
Hope was nervous to get up on stage, but Thomas assured her there was no need to be.
After Thomas asked if Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was OK with them going to Italy together, Hope insisted he shouldn’t worry about Liam.
Thomas wondered if Liam knew that he was going to be in Rome, but Hope simply reiterated that Thomas shouldn’t worry.
Once Thomas talked about taking a detail out of a design, Hope protested and put her hand on his sketchpad.
Thomas casually touched Hope’s hand as he tried to illustrate his own point, so Hope looked unsettled as her heart pounded over the contact.
At the cliff house, a very raspy Taylor asked Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for a drink with honey since she supposedly lost her voice screaming at Brooke.
Steffy got updates on the confrontation and processed the news that Taylor wanted Ridge back.
Taylor assumed Brooke was spinning her best “Logan logic” to make her own case, but Taylor was done fighting and defending herself.
After Taylor admitted she pitched the idea of going to Rome with the rest of the gang, Steffy realized her mom wanted to reconnect with Ridge there.
Although Steffy wasn’t going to push, she supported Taylor and acted like anything could happen.
