The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 4, reveals that Dr. Colin Colby (Justiin Davis) talked to Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) about the testing they’d been doing to rule out some theories regarding Eric’s health crisis.
Dr. Colby said cerebrovascular disease and TIAs were their main focus, but he felt the good news was that they’d been able to cross some scarier things off the list.
Donna was upset over Eric not sharing what he’d discussed with Dr. Colby and worried about how bad this could be.
However, Dr. Colby insisted he didn’t have an official diagnosis yet and that more tests would have to be done.
Eric talked about his tremors getting worse before Dr. Colby said his office would be in touch about the next set of tests.
Once Donna was alone with Eric, she cried in his arms and questioned why he was hiding things from her.
Eric didn’t want to worry Donna, but she felt they should be partners in this health battle and felt it was time to bring Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) as well as the rest of the family up to speed.
Eric refused to give medical updates to anyone else, but Donna argued that they should end this stupid competition.
Donna acted like Eric was playing games, but Eric wanted to make this final collection count and prove to Ridge who the master was.
Donna embraced Eric and expressed her love before going to make more tea.
Eric privately had a coughing fit and hacked up blood into a handkerchief, so he seemed alarmed as he looked down at it.
At Forrester Creations, MacKenzie (Taylor Hale) modeled one of Ridge’s new designs before Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) said that Eric would have to bring his A-game to compete with his son.
Ridge remained worried about Eric and suggested it was almost like something was pushing his dad to create a line all by himself.
After Carter left, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) tried to convince Ridge to skip out on work and head to bed with her.
Ridge appreciated Brooke’s attempt to distract him, but he couldn’t shake his concerns about Eric and why he was doing a whole collection of his own.
Ridge eventually shrugged that maybe he’d just have to beat Eric and suggested that’d be the end of it.
In the design office on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) reiterated that she wouldn’t tell anyone about Eric’s tremors, so RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) assured Luna that he trusted her.
After Luna praised RJ’s relationship with his grandfather, she admitted she didn’t have the same bond with her own.
RJ pushed Luna to tell him more about herself and asked for “one juicy Luna secret” with a grin.
Luna wound up sharing how she was from the Bay Area of Northern California and that her mother had her when she was very young.
It had always been just the two of them, so Luna reflected on how they were both free spirits.
Luna suggested that her grandfather and aunt were quite driven, so they were different from her hippie mom.
Although Luna had a far more modest life than RJ had as a Forrester, she always knew her mother loved her.
RJ teased Luna about being even more fascinating to him now, so she thanked him for being so welcoming and gushed over how special she thought he was.
Luna flirted with RJ as she talked about what a kind, talented, generous and handsome person he was, so RJ smiled over the compliments.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say RJ and Luna’s connection will continue to grow, so stay tuned.
