The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) could be headed into rocky territory. B&B fans know Katie and Carter’s romance has been moving along just fine for a while now, but there could soon be some bumps in the road.
At the moment, Eric Forrester (John McCook) believes that only Katie, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) know the truth.
Since Eric doesn’t want pity, he’d like to keep the secret of his terminal illness under wraps from everyone else – at least for as long as he can.
However, there’s a problem since Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) already know the real story.
Carter, on the other hand, has been left in the dark and seems frustrated over all the secrecy. Ridge’s decision to cover up the real fashion show winner and pretend he lost still doesn’t make sense to Carter.
Likewise, Carter is baffled over Ridge coddling Eric by throwing all this money and support behind his legacy line. Ridge just wants to make Eric’s final wishes come true, but Carter can’t put this puzzle together without all the facts.
If Carter does something that leads to Eric discovering the actual fashion show results, there’s going to be trouble. Carter might accidentally spill the beans and then find out the real reason why Ridge has been behaving this way.
That could lead to major guilt and some anger since Carter’s been shut out. Carter may not be a blood relative, but he’s quite close to the Forresters and may be upset that he wasn’t given all the necessary information.
Since Katie was in the loop long before Carter, this could lead to a romantic blowup. Carter and Katie’s happy relationship could take a serious hit if Carter feels like Katie should’ve been honest from the get-go.
There’s a certain level of trust and respect in a romance that Carter has come to expect, so he may lash out over Katie not giving him any of that.
Could this lead to Carter cheating on Katie? Carter might drift toward single Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) or another character if the writers decide to have him land in bed with someone else.
From Katie’s perspective, part of Carter’s appeal has always been his devotion. Katie doesn’t want to deal with waffling men like Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) anymore, so she loves that Carter’s only focused on her.
