The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) will once again seek Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) out and fill his head with reunion ideas. Deacon was skeptical when Taylor first suggested he should go after a new beginning with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), but he eventually seemed tempted.
During the week of May 29-June 2, Taylor will deliver more advice as she works to play matchmaker and give Deacon the second chance he’s been dreaming of.
However, it turns out Taylor’s motives won’t be pure since she’ll hope to keep Brooke’s mind off Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
If Taylor can get Brooke focused on her future with Deacon, she’ll see a clear path to getting Ridge back and reviving “Tridge.”
Deacon will suspect Taylor hasn’t been honest about her agenda and will ultimately call her out on it.
When Taylor questions why Deacon’s dragging his feet on pursuing Brooke, he’ll reflect on striking out with his last marriage proposal.
Deacon will think Taylor’s just using him as a pawn in her reunion scheme anyway, but B&B spoilers say Taylor will repeatedly deny it.
Nevertheless, Deacon will put a theory to the test later, so it seems he’ll want to see if Taylor’s right about his potential chance at living happily ever after with Brooke.
Although Deacon will be hesitant since he’s been rejected before, he’ll make a sweet speech and ask Brooke for another shot.
Deacon’s romantic gesture will go wrong since Brooke thought they had an understanding about just being friends.
This sudden change of heart will lead to questions – and those questions will lead Brooke to the conclusion that her “bestie” has been matchmaking for selfish reasons.
Taylor has been trying to push Deacon and Brooke together so she can have Ridge for herself, so Brooke will fume over the betrayal.
As for Deacon, he obviously won’t get the new opportunity with Brooke that he was hoping for. Brooke will turn Deacon down again and no doubt leave him wishing he’d avoided the humiliation.
On the bright side, there are plenty of other fish in the sea! It’d be nice if this experience at least gets Deacon thinking about putting his heart back out there.
Deacon deserves to be happy with someone besides Brooke since she’s hung up on Ridge.
Of course, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) wasn’t the ideal love interest either since she was always destined to land back in prison.
Will Deacon ever find love with a lucky lady who isn’t in love with someone else or incarcerated?
Time will tell, but this bad Brooke news could bring some updates to Deacon’s romantic pursuits.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Deacon will have Il Giardino to focus on in the meantime, but maybe a new romance could happen for him down the road.
