The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) could turn the tables on Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) now that she’s worried about the threat Hope poses to Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) recovery.
Thomas has been putting in some hard work in therapy, so Steffy’s proud of him for moving beyond his fixation on Hope.
Now that Hope’s doing things that constitute flirting in Steffy’s eyes, Steffy sees the potential for Thomas to get obsessed all over again.
B&B spoilers also reveal that Hope and Thomas have a business trip ahead of them, so that could lead to them getting too close for comfort in San Francisco.
Steffy will be deeply troubled after Thomas and Hope get stuck there together due to a flight delay.
That’ll lead to Steffy taking matters into her own hands, so there’s a chance she’ll take the trip too and try to catch the pair off guard.
Steffy might want to see for herself what’s happening behind closed doors between Hope and Thomas.
Regardless, Steffy’s fears are growing stronger, so this could lead to her making some big changes at the office.
Before Thomas ever rejoined Hope’s line, there was talk about him possibly working remotely.
For whatever reason, the show later ignored that possibility and just had Thomas come back to work full-time at Forrester headquarters.
However, it might be time to revisit that option with a twist.
Since Steffy blames Hope for pulling Thomas closer and potentially stirring up his obsessed feelings, why should she kick Thomas out of the office?
From where Steffy’s standing, she may think Hope should be the one to go instead!
It’s obviously hard to have Hope for the Future without Hope’s involvement, so Steffy can’t really fire her and still keep the line.
That line has also become very profitable now that Thomas is back on board, so Steffy may seek a solution that preserves Hope for the Future and still keeps her brother away from Hope.
Could Steffy announce that Hope needs to start work remotely?
Steffy might force Hope out of the office and act like it’s the only way to ensure that Thomas will stay on the right path.
Naturally, Steffy can’t stop Thomas and Hope from interacting as Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) co-parents, but she might hope to limit their interactions when it comes to all the fashion modeling and touching on the job.
Steffy could insist that video chats and other forms of offsite communication will be more than enough for Hope and Thomas to keep their collaboration going.
Hope might wonder what she’s supposed to tell Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) if that situation arises. It could lead to Hope trying to downplay everything and act like Steffy’s overreacting.
There’s also the potential for the move to backfire if Thomas goes against Steffy’s wishes and ends up having regular private meetings with Hope.
Nevertheless, Steffy has become especially protective of Thomas’ mental health and could take drastic action to stop him from going back into fixated territory.
