The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) was stunned to learn that the charges against Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) were dropped. Li was outraged when learning the rest of the storyline.
John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) told Li why they could not testify against Sheila.
The blackmail scheme Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) employed blocked them from divulging the whole truth.
Li learned that Bill extended his blackmail threat to her, telling Finn and Steffy that he would inform the authorities if she testified against Sheila.
Brown’s character was aware Li broke various laws when taking Finn from the hospital after the shooting.

Sheila aimed at Steffy and shot Finn. That represented the attempted murder of Steffy, with Finn’s injury also being prosecutable.
But the second shot Sheila took happened mere moments later. Steffy’s responded instinctively, took her smartphone and attempted to call for an ambulance.
Sheila refused to let her daughter-in-law do so and fired a second shot at close range.
Viewers suspended disbelief when accepting that neither Finn nor Steffy died instantly that day.
Sheila’s proximity to both generally would have led to one or two deaths.
Sheila also put herself into a fever pitch and could have ensured Steffy’s demise but chose not to do so or was in a state of shock, possibly proven by her decision to make the scene look like a robbery.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Judge Values The Good Life
Viewers saw that Finn and Steffy, in particular, let Sheila have it in Judge Craig McMullen’s (Joe Lando) courtroom.
His private conversation with Bill, where viewers learned Lando’s returning character and his family enjoyed a wonderful time on the Stella Maris, which Bill provided for their pleasure, provided crooked context.
Bill bought the judge and is believed to have the power to influence other legal authorities.
Of course, Finn and Steffy are choosing to believe Bill possesses the ability to control any governmental authority, which can not possibly be true.
But, at this point in the story, Bill’s dark impulses have him completely shielding Sheila from justice.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Li Finnegan Is A Fighter
Li refused to allow her son to die.
Li’s attitude led to a false death certificate being completed, and the apparent theft of medical equipment and supplies that allowed her to care for Finn in the hidden setting that Sheila eventually located.
Sheila worked with Li at the start but decided to assume control.
That choice led to the car chase where Li was purposely run off the road, survived a watery crash, and was later found by Bill at the wharf.
Due to all that has happened and Li’s lingering anger, relating to Sheila having Finn with Jack Finnegan (Ted King) decades ago, Matsuda’s alter ego is unlikely to allow Bill and Sheila to call the shots indefinitely.
So, fans anticipate Li will engage with both characters on B&B.
