The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Monday, February 13 Recap – Steffy Refuses to Reject Douglas – Thomas Storms Out

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, February 13, reveals that Judge Gomez (Jill Reyes) asked Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) if he was sure about his decision, so Douglas confirmed that he was.

Judge Gomez told everyone that Douglas had decided Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) would be his guardian moving forward, but Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) pointed out they were his parents – not Aunt Steffy.

However, Douglas had a great time with Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) and Hayes Finnegan (Iliana and Vienna Norris) at the cliff house. Plus, Douglas didn’t want Hope and Thomas to be mad at each other.

Hope reminded Douglas that this decision was about who would raise him until he was a young adult.

After Thomas agreed this was a big step, Hope pushed Steffy to say something.

Steffy assured Douglas that she was touched by his choice and that he was always welcome at her house.

When Douglas realized Steffy was gearing up for a “but,” he wondered if she was saying he couldn’t live with her.

Douglas asked if Steffy didn’t want him there, so she assured him that wasn’t the issue. Judge Gomez finally took Douglas in the hallway so that the adults could discuss this unexpected news alone.

Once Steffy admitted she was blindsided by Douglas’ choice, Hope and Thomas hoped she could make him see this wasn’t the right call.

Steffy argued that Thomas and Hope created this situation before asking if they really wanted her to reject Douglas.

Thomas declared that Douglas was his son before storming out. Steffy then pushed Hope to see Douglas’ perspective and understand that he didn’t want to hurt anyone.

Hope reminded Steffy this was legally binding until Douglas was an adult, but Steffy posed a temporary alternative.

Although Steffy had to talk to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) first, she thought maybe it’d be a good idea for Douglas to stay at her place for a while.

Steffy figured Douglas would eventually miss his home at the cabin and want to come back there. Although Steffy promised to do what was best for Douglas, Hope still seemed uneasy.

At the cliff house on Monday’s B&B episode, Kelly gave Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) a card that she made with a little help from Douglas.

After Kelly asked when Douglas was coming over again, Finn suggested they could schedule something soon.

While Kelly was in the other room, Finn gave Li updates on the custody drama at the courthouse today.

Thomas proposed this solution, but Finn assumed Hope went along with it because she thought Douglas would choose to live with her.

Finn said he felt for Douglas, who needed stability and security – things that Thomas couldn’t provide.

After Finn talked about how blessed he was to have his family, he noted that Douglas fit right in whenever he visited.

Finn hoped that after Douglas made his choice today, at least he’d have some certainty about his living arrangements.

At Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) place, he pushed Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) to admit she wanted him, too.

In Deacon’s opinion, there was no way Sheila and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) shared the same kind of connection.

Deacon admitted Sheila was right about Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) since he’d never make any headway with her.

Sheila asked if she was a runner-up, but Deacon said “no way” and pushed her to dump Bill so they could reunite.

After Deacon talked about Bill being a neanderthal who wore an idiotic sword around his neck, he continued pushing Sheila to leave her new man.

However, Sheila got flustered and insisted Deacon couldn’t keep talking to her like this.

Deacon thought Sheila was scared, but she snapped that she was smart since Bill could send her back to prison.

Once Deacon scoffed over Sheila being Bill’s concubine in exchange for her freedom, she shut down that idea and added that she wasn’t longing for Deacon.

Sheila made it clear that Bill was the winner and Deacon was the loser. Although Sheila claimed to never want Deacon near her ever again, he refused to believe she meant that.

Sheila ultimately shoved Deacon away and warned that he was going to mess everything up for her.

After Sheila said to just stop, she ran out the door and kept telling herself that she had to forget what she shared with Deacon.

Nevertheless, Sheila remained stuck on romantic memories of her time at the love shack – and Deacon mulled over those same memories.

Sheila stood outside the door crying over what had just gone down, so her feelings were obviously much stronger than she let on!

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Sheila and Deacon’s bond will lead to even bigger problems soon, so stick with B&B.
