The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that RJ Forrester (Josha Hoffman) has landed on the hot seat more than once with his parents. It was suspicious when RJ suddenly decided to get into designing after insisting he wanted nothing to do with the family business.
RJ chose to work with Eric Forrester (John McCook) and help him bring this grand finale collection to life, so Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) have always been rather baffled by that choice.
Ridge has repeatedly indicated that he doesn’t feel like he’s getting the whole story, but RJ’s been reluctant to betray Eric’s confidence.
What happens when Ridge finds out RJ has been keeping Eric’s health crisis under wraps?
Ridge will eventually end up devastated over Eric’s looming grim fate, so he’ll be looking for someone to hold responsible.
That could lead to Ridge throwing plenty of blame at RJ – mostly as a way to deal with his anger over the whole situation.
Of course, RJ was in a tight spot since he was trying to respect Eric’s wishes and didn’t have all the facts for so long. This was a personal decision that had to be Eric’s alone, but Ridge will still feel deceived and could have a pretty harsh response for RJ.
Ridge might be angry enough to fire RJ for costing him precious time with Eric and clamming up despite multiple grilling sessions.
Since RJ felt the need to keep secrets, Ridge may argue that he can’t be trusted and throw him right out of Forrester Creations.
RJ has definitely been concerned over how hurt and furious Ridge is going to be once the truth about his role in all this comes out.
B&B may be laying the groundwork for RJ to lose his job and place in the family business – at least until Ridge calms down.
Ridge might fire RJ temporarily and try to make his son pay the price for what he views as a betrayal.
Naturally, Ridge could come to his senses later, but his initial response to RJ’s secrecy could be awfully extreme!
