The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, January 12, reveals that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) was shocked to learn Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) was involved with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and had been using Taylor’s shooting guilt as leverage.
Taylor found out Bill only called the cops on Sheila because he had a plan to free her – one that involved making sure Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) didn’t testify.
Bill was also behind the bogus evidence that explained away Sheila’s escape, so Taylor fumed over him putting everyone in danger.
Since Taylor wanted Sheila locked up, she decided she would just turn herself in so that Sheila could be brought down for her own crimes.
Although Taylor planned to tell Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) everything that happened the night Bill was shot, Steffy protested.
Since Bill owned the judge, it might not even change the outcome for Sheila.
Steffy talked about how much Taylor’s family needed her and begged her mom not to promise she wouldn’t say anything about the shooting.
Taylor’s future wasn’t worth putting Sheila away as far as Steffy was concerned.
At Bill’s house, Sheila remained thrilled over her freedom and told Bill he was the reason for it.
After Sheila called Bill her hero, she gave him a passionate kiss.
Sheila insisted she wasn’t a monster and added that fear had driven her mistakes.
The pain Sheila had caused wasn’t intentional, so she maintained that she wasn’t evil and was glad Bill didn’t hold her reputation against her.
Instead, Bill gave Sheila another chance that she would always be thankful for.
Sheila assumed people would be storming the place with torches and pitchforks soon, but Bill didn’t care about that.
In fact, Bill went ahead and told security to allow it so they could get the backlash out of the way.
Sheila cuddled with Bill on the sofa as she wished things could’ve turned out differently with Finn, Steffy and Hayes Finnegan (Iliana and Vienna Norris).
As Sheila whined about wanting forgiveness that might never come, Bill understood that it was difficult to give up on family.
Although Bill couldn’t promise Sheila would be part of Finn and Steffy’s world, he vowed to protect her and keep her out of prison.
On Thursday’s B&B episode, Sheila assured Bill that she owed him her life and once again cozied up close to him.
At Forrester Creations, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) gave Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) some shocking news that he found out through a colleague at the courthouse.
Brooke and Katie were floored to learn Sheila had been released.
Although Katie and Brooke were confused about how Sheila got away with attempted murder, Carter insisted she walked out a free woman.
