The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, August 18, indicates that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will make a confession during his conversation with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) – one that could be a game-changer.
Liam will admit that he hasn’t filed the divorce papers yet since he has some concerns. Hope’s line may be on Liam’s mind for starters, so that may be part of the delay.
Since Hope just had a super successful fashion preview in Rome, Liam may be wary of pulling attention off Hope for the Future.
The divorce news would undoubtedly take center stage if they moved full-speed ahead with it.
However, Liam’s main worries will be about Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) and what’ll happen once she gets updates on the official split.
That’ll lead to Hope and Liam thinking back to Beth’s birth and how traumatic it was to lose her.
Liam will be grateful that Beth came back into their lives, but he’ll point out that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) played a huge role in the cover-up.READ

If Thomas had gotten his way at the time, Hope and Liam never would’ve found out that Beth was alive and living as “Phoebe Forrester” through duped Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) bogus adoption.
Although Hope normally defends Thomas as a changed man, it seems she’ll be a bit more emotional and vulnerable about Beth due to the birthday party they’ve been having for her.
Liam will know what buttons to press when it comes to reminding Hope of the suffering Thomas perpetuated.
We’ll hear more of Liam’s usual Thomas’ trashing, but Hope may object less than usual.
By the end of this conversation, Liam and Hope might agree to hold off on the divorce.
Although Hope and Liam may not make any promises about what’s next, they may not feel the timing is right for the papers to be filed.
Liam will also heavily influence Hope’s new perception of Thomas, so the show’s obviously making some huge story adjustments.
It honestly looks like they’re already putting the pieces in place for Hope and Liam’s reunion, which is crazy considering Liam’s been talking about taking off his “Hope goggles” and what a mistake it was to give up Steffy!
Speaking of Steffy, she’ll have another discussion with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) on Friday’s B&B episode.
That’ll bring Steffy’s admission about John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and how he just doesn’t make her feel safe anymore due to his connection to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
During that conversation, Ridge will mention that he quizzed Liam about his intentions.
Liam was adamant about loving Steffy and wanting her back, but it sounds like B&B already has plans for him to waffle right back to Hope!
