The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, August 21, indicates that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will be cagey during his next conversation with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), who’ll demand an explanation from her brother.
Steffy will have a bad feeling about Thomas’ romance with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), so she’ll wonder just how far it’s progressed.
The idea of Thomas’ obsession flaring up again will definitely leave Steffy on edge.
However, Steffy will also worry that Thomas is going to get hurt.
Since Steffy knows Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) have a knack for finding their way back each other, she’ll ask Thomas what he’d do if that happened.
Thomas will assure Steffy that he’s on the same page with Hope and might point out that they’re taking things slow.
Although Thomas won’t think there’s any chance of Hope reuniting with Liam, he may insist he’d be fine if that’s what Hope chose.
Of course, it doesn’t look like Thomas will mention making love to Hope repeatedly or the fact that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) caught them in bed together, so Steffy won’t get the full story.
Liam doesn’t have all the facts either, but he still feels like Hope is letting her guard down with Thomas far too much.
It’s dangerous in Liam’s opinion, so he’ll deliver a passionate speech and perhaps plead with Hope to keep her distance.
Unlike Liam’s past pleas, B&B spoilers say this one will cause a breakthrough somewhere deep inside Hope.
It’s already in progress since Liam recapped the story of stolen Beth Spencer’s (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) fake demise and how Thomas was going to sit on that news permanently.
Although it didn’t seem possible just a few short days ago, both Liam and Hope appear be taking baby steps back together.
That doesn’t mean the path to a reunion will be easy, but Hope and Liam do seem to be headed down that road.
Unfortunately, that means Hope will have to give Thomas some upsetting updates during the week of August 21-25.
