The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, August 10, indicates that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will push John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) to put his family with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) above whatever strange connection he feels to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
Ridge won’t be able to make sense of Finn’s error in judgment when it comes to Sheila, but he won’t think that matters anyway.
Regardless of whatever void Finn might be trying to fill, Ridge won’t believe it’s as important as keeping Steffy and the kids safe.
Finn may once again argue that the real issue is Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) trying to undermine his marriage, but Ridge may insist Finn’s not owning up to his mistakes.
It’s time for Finn to stop blaming Liam for his marital strife and acknowledge that he blew up this relationship himself.
Finn will indeed try to admit guilt and do better in Thursday’s episode, so that’s why he’ll pop over to Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) place soon.
That could give Finn an opportunity to witness Liam’s rather intimate-looking scene with Steffy since he’s clutching her hands and wishing for a romantic reboot.
Although Finn definitely needs to accept some responsibility, Liam isn’t blameless in all this either.
If Liam really cared about Steffy the way he claims to, then he wouldn’t be pouncing on her while she’s vulnerable.
Liam keeps acting like Finn’s recent behavior is the only reason he’s interfering, but we can’t forget he kissed Steffy twice before Finn’s bond with Sheila was even a factor!
Nevertheless, Finn will rein in his rage and concentrate on making a passionate speech to Steffy.
We’ll see Finn put in some effort when it comes to pleading for forgiveness and another chance.
Other B&B spoilers say Liam will have a strategy session with Ridge as they discuss what’s next in this whole Finn and Sheila saga.
Ridge may wish Steffy had ended up with Liam as a romantic partner considering all the drama Finn’s link to Sheila has caused.
At Forrester Creations, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) will discuss Finn’s goal of repairing his marriage, which could provide a significant hurdle for Liam.
Even so, Liam is a waffler to the core, so Hope may admit his reunion with Steffy is still quite likely.
Brooke might try to get Hope nostalgic for her days as a united family with Liam and the kids, but Hope will continue to believe those days are long gone.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam’s feelings for Steffy will grow stronger and stronger, so she’ll have to deal with that as he continues to stand against Sheila and Finn’s worst impulses.
It sounds like Sheila will be caught between her past and present, but what’s really critical now is the future!
B&B fans can expect Finn to make some updates to his life, so stay tuned for news on his progress with Steffy.
