The Young and the Restless Recap: Monday, April 3 – Chance Says Phyllis Didn’t Survive Explosion – EMT Points to Poison

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, April 3, teases that Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) will keep demanding information on his wife, so Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will wonder what he’s talking about.

Jeremy will whip out the marriage license again and repeat the story of marrying Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) three days ago, but Daniel and Summer will remain skeptical – especially since Phyllis didn’t tell them about it.

Daniel will eventually have to be held back from a physical fight with Jeremy.

As for that marriage license, Daniel will grab it and rip it to shreds as Jeremy continues to push his buttons.

Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will also reveal more news on Phyllis’ ambulance being the one in the crash.

When Chance admits there was an explosion that led to the ambulance catching on fire, Daniel will wonder if Phyllis could’ve survived that and will lean on Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) for support

Danny will speak privately with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and open up about how alone Daniel has been.

If the worst happens, Danny will worry about Daniel’s anger and guilt on top of everything he’s already been through.

Summer will be in denial about Phyllis’ fate and will cling to the fact that her death hasn’t been confirmed yet.

Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton) will grill plenty of other partygoers for information, but almost everyone will keep pushing her to have some decency and back off.

Jeremy, on the other hand, will seem interested in speaking with Leanna, but Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will throw her out before Stark has the chance.

Even so, Leanna and Jeremy will both be interested in continuing this conversation later.

Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will think maybe her presence is making things worse, but Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will urge her to stay since he’ll need her along with Summer and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Jack will get some comfort from Diane and others due to his history with Phyllis. Nick will be concerned about his ex as well, especially for Summer’s sake.

Since there won’t be anything they can do, Nick will encourage Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to head out.

Soon after, Victor will end up at Society with Victoria and Nikki.

We’ll see Victor get some updates from his own security team along the way – and he’ll be intrigued as he watches Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) having an intense conversation with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) at the bar.

Meanwhile, Audra will talk about her desire to find J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) and the medical podcast she wants him to do.

Tucker will think it’s risky to stir up the past, but Audra will act like the brain tumor was the problem and Victoria had a positive love story with J.T. otherwise.

Since J.T. used to work for Tucker, he’ll admit he knows him quite well. Tucker will be willing to find J.T., but he’ll warn Audra that it’ll cost her.

Audra will be wary when Tucker can’t give her an exact answer on what he’d want in return.

The idea of being in Tucker’s debt won’t appeal to Audra, but Tucker will insist the favor would be comparable to her J.T. search.

Audra will mention J.T.’s early prison release, but Tucker will doubt that he’d want to talk to her.

Since Tucker has a history with J.T., he’ll urge Audra to see that he might be of value after all.

In the end, Audra will agree to think about it, but Tucker will warn her not to take too long.

That’ll amuse Audra as she assures Tucker that she’ll get back to him in a timely manner.

While Nikki’s on a phone call, Audra will join Victor and Nikki at their table.

That’ll lead to Victor talking about Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) dropped lawsuit and how it could work in their favor on acquiring McCall Unlimited.

After Audra leaves, Victoria will scold Victor for spilling that in front of Audra without telling her first.

Once Victoria suggests she needs to stay a step ahead of her employees, Victor will understand her point.

Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Victoria will approach Tucker at his table and wonder if she can buy him a drink.

Tucker will reply that he’d be delighted and will seem entertained by Victoria’s offer.

Back at the GCAC, Chance will speak to EMT Carson (Walter Belenky) about what happened tonight.

Carson will remember Diane taking a ring out of Phyllis’ hand and will assume it belonged to Diane since she showed it to Jack.

In the ambulance, Carson will mention that Phyllis opened her eyes, but she wasn’t really responding to his questions.

EMT Carson will note that Phyllis kept whispering the word “poison,” so he drew blood for a tox screen.

After the driver lost control, the crash threw open the backdoors of the ambulance and hurled Carson about 20 feet away.

EMT Carson will insist he tried to save Phyllis – who was still restrained on the gurney – along with the trapped driver, but he couldn’t get to them through the flames.

Finally, Chance will return to the lounge, where he’ll reveal confirmation that Phyllis didn’t make it.

Summer will fall back into Kyle’s arms as she sobs while Daniel embraces Danny nearby.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jeremy will stand there looking stoic and secretive, so stay tuned for the next phase of his plan.
