The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) could be linked to someone on canvas besides Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and those closest to them.
In the May 31 episode, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) delivers the news that Cameron relocated to Los Angeles after his original prison stint ended.
Cameron found himself a lookalike Sharon girlfriend and assaulted her, which led to another arrest and more jail time in LA.
It’s interesting that Y&R writers picked Los Angeles as the place Cameron wanted to relocate.
They could’ve picked any city at all, but they chose the one city where Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) was hiding out as “Taylor Jensen” before she returned to Genoa City.
Since Diane always seems to have more secrets to unearth in her past, could she have some sort of connection to Cameron?
Linden Ashby and Susan Walters are married in real life, so the show will indeed let them cross paths for some form of a brief interaction soon.
It won’t be much since Cameron is so fixated on his Sharon revenge plot, but it’s possible he’ll run into Diane and remember her from her days as “Taylor” out in LA.
If nothing else, maybe Diane and Cameron will have a moment where they seem awfully familiar to each other.
Cameron might wonder if Diane spent any time in Los Angeles and get confirmation that she did – even if they don’t remember any details.
The scene could be more of a funny nod to Walters and Ashby’s marriage than anything based on the plot.
Then again, Diane could end up shaking in her boots if Cameron perhaps threatened her once upon a time.
People obviously don’t have warm and fuzzy memories when it comes to Cameron, so Diane might recall some dangerous encounter she had with him.
It’s easy to imagine Cameron menacingly warning “Taylor” to just say out of his way unless she wants more problems!
