The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, April 28, tease that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will pay the price for defending Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will express her disappointment in Michael, so he’ll feel like a failure in the husband department.
Of course, Lauren will think Michael is failing Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) too by defending her killer.
However, Michael will insist there’s more to the story and will hold out hope that he can get true justice in this tricky case.
Other Y&R spoilers say Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will make an impulsive choice, so this should tie in with his ASAP wedding idea at the end of Thursday’s show.
Diane may agree to Jack’s pitch on Friday’s episode, so this could easily turn out to be their jailhouse wedding day!
If not, Jack and Diane should at least plan to marry very soon.
Since Jack wants to have their nuptials before the trial and support Diane through this whole ordeal, Diane may finally cave in and let Jack be her imminent groom.
Over with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier), she’ll land in a tight spot with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei).
Now that Summer knows Phyllis is alive, will she hide that huge news like Phyllis asked?
Summer realizes the situation is dire and will definitely lie to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) moving forward, but it’ll be harder with Daniel since he’s been grieving just like her.
Even so, Summer will at least try to hide the truth for now, so we’ll see how long that plan works out – especially with Daniel’s growing suspicions.
When Daniel meets back up with Summer, he might suggest the key to the case is finding Jeremy’s killer.
Daniel may assume that’s the same person who killed Phyllis and argue that person should pay.
Since Summer won’t want a trail that leads to their mom, she may have to keep the focus on the Diane evidence and urge Daniel not to get sidetracked by all the deadly Stark drama.
Daniel will no doubt sense a weird shift in Summer’s demeanor, but she’ll end up clashing with him as she secretly tries to keep Phyllis out of trouble.
