The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, July 24, reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will face a stumbling block when it comes to getting her life back on track. Y&R fans know Phyllis is already up against some serious challenges now that she’s indebted to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Tucker wants Phyllis to win forgiveness from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) ASAP since it’s the quickest path to pushing Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) buttons.
However, Phyllis pointed out that it’d look suspicious if she prioritized mending things with Kyle and Jack.
The first move Phyllis makes has to involve repairing her relationships with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei).
Daniel isn’t happy about Phyllis’ actions, but at least his life wasn’t totally destroyed by his mom’s behavior.
It’s Summer who’s paying the price since her secrets ruined her marriage to Kyle, who slept with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and continues to reject his wife.
Phyllis’ stumbling block could involve her attempt to undo the damage, especially after Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) offers his take on the situation.
Since Billy won’t have a very hopeful attitude about Summer’s future with Kyle, he may think this could affect Phyllis’ mother-daughter bond permanently.
Other Y&R spoilers say Jack will fume over Tucker’s influence on Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and all the chaos they’re trying to cause.
Diane won’t be afraid of going up against them, but Jack will warn about all the dirty tricks Tucker’s going to send their way.
Fortunately, Diane will have a sneaky strategy in mind that could throw off Tucker’s game.
When Jack gets updates on how Diane plans to get down in the mud with Tucker, he’ll offer his full approval.
Although Jack likes the new-and-improved Diane, he doesn’t mind when her scheming side comes out to play – at least under the right circumstances.
Diane might hope to push Tucker over the edge by not taking the Phyllis bait. If Diane doesn’t have the wild reaction Tucker wants as things escalate, then he’ll have to change tactics.
On the other hand, Diane could always target Tucker’s romance with Ashley since that just might be his kryptonite.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane will bolster Jack’s confidence, so he’ll hope they can throw some bad news at Tucker and cause some setbacks.
