The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, May 22, tease that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will realize his investigation efforts have been sabotaged. Whether Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) admits to lying or not, Chance will know he’s been duped.
Chance will naturally be frustrated since this has been happening with every investigation lately.
It seems like people are always withholding facts and trying to sell Chance some fake version of events that they think works best.
While Chance fights for the whole truth about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will shake things up.
It’ll be interesting to see how Billy and Chelsea add a little spice to their lives, especially if it brings them closer.
Of course, there’s always a chance for drama when unexpected things happen, so that’s important to keep in mind, too.
Speaking of unexpected things, Billy will let Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) in on a secret since Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) might have a coup in the works.
Ashley has mentioned wanting to get Jack removed from the CEO position, so Billy will give his brother a heads-up – just in case she follows through on the threat.
Jack will mull over Ashley’s motives and may assume his spot on the Jabot throne will be protected once Phyllis’ survival becomes public knowledge.
Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Ashley will focus on setting some healthy boundaries with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), but rules are made to be broken!
Despite Ashley’s attempt to keep Tucker in line, he’ll go rogue with a new marriage proposal soon.
In the meantime, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will face a sneak attack when Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) corners her to voice his disapproval.
Victoria’s budding relationship with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will leave Victor with plenty to say to his strong-willed daughter.
Within the next few episodes, Victoria will also have to deal with Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) wrath, but she’ll continue to concentrate on what she wants personally – and that’s Nate!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria may have to make some updates to her view of deceitful Nate down the road, so stay tuned for news on her inevitable disappointment.
