The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) could make a surprising move now that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is forcing him to take a leave of absence. It’s clear that Victoria has ulterior motives since she mainly just wants to give Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) more power at Newman Enterprises.
Although this is supposedly a temporary step back, Nick may assume it’s just a matter of time until he’s replaced for good.
With that in mind, maybe Nick should make a bold move and just give Victoria what she wants!
Perhaps Nick will quit and become Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) COO at McCall Unlimited instead.
Nick could turn his official resignation and stun Victoria with a new power play of his own.
When Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) first suggested that Nick should join Adam’s team, Nick was vehemently against the idea.
However, things have changed since now Nick’s angry with Victoria and feeling cast aside.
Plus, Nick has sympathy for Adam over the loss of his baby and Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) decision to blame him.
Y&R fans watched as Nick hugged Adam in the aftermath of all the drama, so their relationship could be shifting.
It’s easy to imagine Nick coming around on the idea of joining forces with Adam under the circumstances.
Victor would be pleased if his sons started working together – though he’d no doubt be concerned about it adding to the feud with Victoria.
Even so, Nick might make a pitch to Adam and decide he’d like to be a team player after all. It’d be refreshing to see Adam and Nick on the same side in business for once.
Adam intends to focus on media and streaming at McCall Unlimited, which Victor’s been worried about since it puts him in direct competition with Newman Media.
Of course, Adam assured Victor that he’s not out to destroy the company. The plan is to take over Newman Media instead, so Nick might shake on a deal to help Adam pull it off.
If anyone can take Victoria and Nate down, it’s Adam and Nick! Will the brothers unite with a common goal and teach their sister a lesson about loyalty?
