The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) could be in for a shocker when she discovers the identity of Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) new love interest.
Y&R viewers could help notice in Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jeremy’s scenes. They seemed to flirt but in an edgy way.
Phyllis was intrigued by him, partly because he’s a dangerous criminal, according to Diane anyway.
But another big reason for her fascination with him was her attraction to the bad boy.
Phyllis hadn’t seen Jeremy since her run-in with him at Crimson Lights when he forced her to admit that she was the one who called him about Diane.
She finally admitted it while clearly showing her fear of him.
Over the next few weeks, Diane’s lies about Jeremy will be revealed. Jack will realize that Jeremy isn’t a dangerous criminal; after all, he’s Diane’s former flame.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Jack will start to see Diane has been lying to him.
Diane seems confident that she can manipulate Jeremy into thinking she wants a romantic relationship with him.
On Monday’s (January 2) show, Jeremy doesn’t buy it. He doesn’t trust Diane and asks for a loyalty test.
With his trust in Diane gone, Jeremy needs a new love. That brings us back to Phyllis.
Jeremy had good chemistry with her, and there’s little doubt that he didn’t find her attractive.
If Jeremy wants a new woman in his life, Phyllis will create drama. Diane would lose her mind if her ex-partner-in-crime chose Phyllis over her.
Diane would do everything in her power to drive them apart.
It could throw Jack for a loop, as he wouldn’t understand why it bothers Diane so much.
In his mind, if Phyllis is busy with Jeremy, they can live a peaceful life without either of their inference.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say James Hyde’s (Jeremy Stark) contract was extended, so the powers that be could be trying to find a way to keep him on the show long-term.
A relationship with Phyllis would be a great way to keep him around. As a bonus, it would drive Diane crazy and bring out her devious side.
