The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) have been growing closer, so they certainly seem to be headed down a romantic road right now.
Of course, Chance isn’t ready to date again since his split from Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) is still so fresh, but he enjoys Sharon’s company.
Chance also appreciates Sharon’s advice and will be getting more of it in the coming weeks.
As Chance contemplates a different career, Sharon will be pivotal in helping him on his new path.
That’ll strengthen Sharon and Chance’s bond as this storyline moves forward.
Meanwhile, Sharon has slowly been healing after Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) tragic death.
There’ll come a time when Sharon is officially ready to date again, but is Chance really the man she belongs with?
It’s possible Y&R writers have a big romantic twist brewing, which could mean huge news for Sharon.
Although Sharon and Chance have a nice rapport, they’re not exactly exploding with chemistry.
There’s no guarantee that the show will go with Sharon and Chance as a long-term couple.
That’s especially true when you think about the situation going on with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) at the moment.
Nick is part of a love triangle with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), but Adam and Sally seem like the endgame couple to root for.
Sally arguably has more chemistry with Adam, who needs another kid more than Nick does. Nick has too many children already!
Plus, Sally would currently prefer for Nick to be the “baby daddy,” which probably means she won’t get her wish.
That’s just how things usually work in the soap world.
Sally seems poised to have Adam’s child and ultimately realize they belong together. What happens to crushed Nick if that happens?
You can bet Sharon will comfort Nick, so that could lead to him realizing she’s “the one.”
There’s been a lot of talk from Adam in recent months about Sharon being Nick’s true love.
Perhaps Nick’s storyline with Sally is just a path to realizing that.
As for Sharon, maybe the show’s just letting her fill airtime with Chance until this Nick shift can play out.
Just when Chance falls for Sharon and thinks they could really have something together, she might land back in Nick’s arms and bed.
Nick seems destined for single status down the line, so will that bring another chance with Sharon?
Will Sharon reunite with Nick and break Chance’s heart in the process?
