The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, January 10, teases that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will corner Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) to ask if he meant what he said about burning it all down. Phyllis will think Tucker needs a reality check and will warn that he’ll always be an outsider in Genoa City.
After Phyllis says Tucker can fix things with his family, exit GC or burn it all down like he suggested, she’ll leave the choice up to him.
At Jabot on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will give Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) updates on Tucker going after Chancellor-Winters and will mention the Jabot financials that she found as well.
Jack will suspect that perhaps Ashley wishes she was wrong about Tucker, but she’ll act like she always knew he was plotting and will bring the conversation back to her Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) issues.
When Tucker shows up later, he’ll clash with Jack and argue that he was just trying to help Ashley have the control she deserves.
Tucker will mention that he offered Ashley an independent way forward with her own company before Jack kicks him out.
At Society, Diane will meet with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), who’ll give her a deadline to prove she can act swiftly and decisively.
That means Diane will have until tomorrow to commit a crime and prove her loyalty.
Afterward, Diane will give Jack the deadline news, so he’ll come up with a plan that he feels is their best option.
Jack will mention Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) pied-à-terre in Chicago since he used to go there with Nikki.
Once Jack admits he still knows the alarm entry code if it hasn’t changed, he’ll also note that Nikki has a secret compartment where she keeps her prize jewelry.
Diane will think she can talk her way out of trouble if she gets caught by the building security team, but Jack won’t be so sure about that.
Instead, Jack will want to steal the jewelry himself since he knows the building and the staff knows him from years ago.
Diane will protest, but Jack will remind her of the looming deadline and push her to pass off what he steals as her own dirty work.
Back with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll do her best to patch things up with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier), who’ll figure out that Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) talked to her first.
However, Phyllis will truly want to make amends and will suggest she could join in Summer’s Paris trip with Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez).
Due to all the drama that’s happening, Summer will be determined to get out of town for a bit.
When Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) stops by Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, she’ll hear all about Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) working for Tucker on a Chancellor-Winters takeover plot.
Devon will talk about letting people persuade him to go against his instincts and will insist that stops now.
Once Devon gets Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) on a video call, she’ll take the blame for hiring Audra and will suggest they’ll have to put the IPO on hold again to check Audra’s work.
That’s when Devon will announce that he wants to buy back Hamilton-Winters since this merger has been a disaster from the start.
Devon will threaten to go public with his concerns about the IPO if Jill and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) fight him on this, so Jill certainly won’t be happy.
Although Jill will hope Devon might change his mind, he’ll declare that his decision is final.
At Newman Media, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will sit in on Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) meeting with Audra as she interviews for the COO spot.
Audra will take a bold approach and seem like she’s interviewing them rather than the other way around!
An impressed Victoria will ultimately leave the decision in Nate’s hands, so he’ll hire Audra and shake on the deal.
After Ashley meets up with Abby, they’ll discuss Tucker’s betrayal.
Although Ashley’s brain didn’t trust Tucker, she’ll hint that she couldn’t stop her heart from giving him the benefit of the doubt.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley will think it’s best if she leaves Genoa City for a while, so she’ll catch Abby off guard with her announcement.
