The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, May 2, tease that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will face quite a challenge when it comes to deceiving Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Summer knows Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is alive, so she could help clear Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) of murder if she came clean.
Although Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) didn’t believe Summer’s story, that’s mostly because she didn’t tell it the right way.
Summer was still frazzled after her Phyllis encounter and seemed like a lunatic, so it’s not surprising that Daniel worried about her mental health.
If Summer took a calmer approach with Kyle, she could certainly make him believe everything she’s learned.
However, that’s not what Summer will decide to do since there’s so much at stake for her mom.
Phyllis pushed Summer to keep quiet about her faked death and all the shockers that followed, so Summer will do her best to keep this huge secret under wraps.
Of course, it’ll be tough since Summer isn’t used to lying right to Kyle’s face.
Summer will have a hard time with this betrayal and could leave Kyle suspicious if she’s not careful.
Over with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he’ll make Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) an offer regarding her unborn daughter, but it’ll really be more of an ultimatum.
Victor will agree to pay Sally a substantial amount of money if she’ll give her baby girl to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) after the birth and just leave Genoa City behind.
If Sally turns Victor down and continues to fuel the Newman brother war, Victor may warn that there’ll be consequences.
Perhaps Victor will suggest he could make sure Sally’s baby gets taken from her anyway and leave her with nothing.
Whatever the case, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be furious once he meets with Sally and gets updates on Victor’s latest stunt!
Next on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will get on a video call with J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) thanks to the contact info that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) provides.
That’ll lead to Elena making a pitch for J.T. to be on her medical podcast, so he’ll assume this is something Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) knows about and has approved.
Elena won’t correct J.T. when he makes that assumption, so she’ll dupe him into thinking Victoria’s on board.
In reality, Victoria will remain in the dark while Elena tries to figure out J.T.’s level of interest in his ex.
After Elena fills J.T. in on the brain tumor podcast news, she’ll invite him to return to GC for an interview.
That’ll put the ball in J.T.’s court, but Elena will have a few more tricks up her sleeve if he comes back to town like she hopes.
