The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, March 29, tease that a couple more familiar faces will return for the gala. Y&R fans can expect Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) to make a comeback along with his sister, Gina Roma (Patty Weaver).
While Gina and Danny catch up with all their loved ones, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will make a splash with her arrival.
Once Amanda shows up late to the party, she’ll immediately notice Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) looking cozy.
That’ll lead to Amanda sauntering over to confront the pair, so she’ll ask if Abby is living with Devon yet.
However, Devon won’t want this to turn into another confrontation, so he’ll ask if they can step outside to clear the air instead.
Although Devon will want to apologize, his efforts will lead to a risky push-pull dynamic with Amanda, so that’ll bring some surprises later this week!
In the meantime, we’ll see the aftermath of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) big showdown.
Tuesday’s episode ends with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) seemingly witnessing Diane choking Phyllis in a fit of rage.
Unless Y&R pulls a fast one and makes that part a fantasy, it looks like Jack will hear the news of what happened and justify Diane’s attack on Wednesday’s show.
Jack can’t condone violence, but he could still act like Phyllis brought this on herself by luring Diane up there to hurl insults.
The fact that Phyllis claimed Kyle was sick should set Jack off, too.
Whatever the case, Jack will take Diane back to the gala so they can announce their engagement and will happily kiss his bride-to-be in front of all the guests.
Of course, Jack should realize the ring is missing from his pocket and offer to buy Diane a replacement soon.
Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) stole that ring as part of his plan to set Diane up, so it should come into play later.
Until then, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will cause quite a stir when she interrupts the engagement celebration.
It’ll lead to Phyllis taunting Diane once again and making some ominous comments as everyone stares.
Jeremy and Phyllis’ revenge plot involves framing Diane for Phyllis’ murder, so stay tuned for updates on the final pieces of the puzzle.
