The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of March 27-31 tease that the bicentennial gala will spill over with more returns and exciting episodes. There’ll be some surprise guests and plenty of drama as Y&R continues to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
When Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) crosses paths with Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway), she’ll want to give her former daughter-in-law a piece of her mind.
Abby cheated on Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), so Nina will blast her for the betrayal.
However, Abby will rush to her own defense and perhaps argue that her marriage problems started long before she slept with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
Chance had been pulling away for quite some time and was never on the same page with Abby about his job.
Although Abby may apologize for the pain she caused Chance, she won’t be sorry about her newfound happiness with Devon.
Abby is obviously starting to fall hard for Devon and can envision herself having a long-lasting romantic future with him.
Meanwhile, Devon will have a change of heart and realize he’s perhaps been too harsh with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).
Amanda has every right to be angry with Devon for betraying her, especially when he’s not even showing remorse right now.
Instead, Devon has been acting like Amanda is taking cheap shots and enjoying tearing him down.
The truth is Devon deserves to be torn down because he’s a cheater!
At some point, Devon will try to take responsibility for his actions and acknowledge that he’s only been thinking of himself lately.
If Devon were in Amanda’s position, he’d have the exact same attitude.
Devon will ask if Amanda can forgive him, so she may do her best to move past the crushing blow he delivered.
Since Devon will hope to make amends, maybe there’ll be an opportunity for him to truly patch things up with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and perhaps even Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) as well.
In the meantime, Lily and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will heat things up, so they could share a kiss or even hit the sheets by the time the gala winds down.
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) also seem poised to take some big romantic steps together despite Tucker’s many flaws.
Of course, Y&R fans will be eager to see how Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) revenge plot turns out.
Phyllis will eventually have to take charge of a tricky situation, so it seems she’ll go rogue once the plan starts to fall apart.
One way or another, all signs point to Phyllis’ faked death shaking things up soon enough!
That could give Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton) quite a headline since she’ll be buzzing around and looking for juicy news while she’s back in town.
