The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) feels confident in his theory that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was behind Emma Barber’s (Nia Sioux) grisly end, but he has no way of proving it.
The cops ruled that Emma’s demise was the result of a tragic accident, so they cleared Thomas and closed the case.
However, Xander is convinced that Thomas ran Emma off the road on purpose.
Since Xander wants to open Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) eyes to what Thomas is capable of and protect her from Thomas’ sinister side, he may pull off a sneaky move.
Xander’s return to B&B is throwing Thomas’ life into turmoil, so it’s only a matter of time until these enemies have a heated confrontation.
At some point, Xander needs to come face to face with Thomas and unleash his wrath over Emma’s horrific outcome.
That could bring an opportunity for Xander to secretly record Thomas. Xander might hope he can push Thomas’ buttons and get him to admit what he believes to be true.
Perhaps Xander will think he can agitate Thomas to the point where he’ll acknowledge that he wanted Emma gone permanently.
Of course, Thomas just told Hope most of the details of that night, but he insisted it didn’t happen the way Xander said.
Thomas has been adamant that he’s innocent since he didn’t want Emma to perish.
Xander might hope to record Thomas confessing otherwise if he plays this just right. Even if it’s not something that would hold up in court, it could be enough to show Hope a very different version of Thomas.
Although Hope believes Thomas has changed, Xander could raise questions about whether that’s genuinely the case.
Is Thomas truly redeemed or is that just what he wants everyone to think?
Even if Xander can’t get Thomas to admit he wanted to take Emma out of the picture forever, he might plan to get proof of him dishing out more threats.
There’s a good chance Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is pulling the strings since he didn’t seem surprised to learn Xander was back in town – not to mention he immediately assumed Xander was making life difficult for Thomas.
Whether Liam orders a secret recording or Xander goes after one on his own, Xander could try to get evidence against Thomas and blow up his relationship with Hope.
Regardless, the show’s pushing Thomas as a changed man, so he may stick to his story about never wanting Emma to face such a terrible tragedy. Xander’s plan could flop if Thomas’ redemption holds firm!
