The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 4, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) summoned Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to the office, so she arrived wondering what the big emergency was.
Ridge confessed that he fired Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and offered updates on the LLC takeover plot.
Once Ridge explained that Carter was romantically involved with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), everything started to click into place for Steffy.
After Steffy said Hope was using Carter to save her job, she ranted about Hope pushing John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) to connect with Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) and leading Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) on for months.
Steffy basically said Carter was Hope’s latest victim and blamed her for making him fall for her self-serving advice.
At the cabin on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was concerned over Hope acting like Forrester Creations needed a shakeup.
After Brooke tried to convince Hope that this takeover was wrong, she admitted Ridge was blaming Hope for turning Carter against him and the company.
Hope realized she was being made a scapegoat and suggested the Forresters were determined to make her a villain.
Despite Brooke’s disapproval over her daughter’s plan with Carter, she insisted she wouldn’t let Steffy and Ridge vilify Hope.
Later, Hope was alone when Steffy barged in the cabin. Hope complained about the ambush, but Steffy was more interested in ranting about Hope seducing Carter and getting him to throw away his career.
Steffy insisted Hope poisoned Carter against the Forresters and wondered how Hope lived with herself. Hope argued that they tried reasoning with Ridge and Steffy, but that got them nowhere.
After Hope said they finally decided to push back, Steffy made it clear that Hope and Carter had failed. According to Steffy, all Hope did was destroy a good man.
Now that Hope had shown her true colors, Steffy said she was finished and that she’d never be part of Forrester Creations again.
In the design office, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) fished for info on Will Spencer’s (Crew Morrow) interest in Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace), who suddenly interrupted.
That led to some talk about Electra’s unexpected encounter with Remy Pryce (Christian Weissmann) recently.
Although Electra was happy to see Remy and didn’t blame him for her past, she confessed that he reminded her of something she was trying to leave behind.
Electra just wanted to focus on a fresh start and ultimately got Will to head to Il Giardino with her for lunch.
At the restaurant, Remy was distracted by pictures of Electra on his phone, but he put his phone away when Sheila popped up.
Remy was grateful to Sheila and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) for this job since he needed it to keep him in Los Angeles.
Sheila asked what brought Remy to California and guessed he was an actor, but Remy said somebody from back home moved there and this was their chance to reconnect.
Remy added that he’d been in awe of this girl for as long as he could remember.
Sheila hoped the young woman appreciated what Remy was doing for her.
Remy said he’d do just about anything to be close to her and eventually looked at more Electra pics on his phone.
Once Will and Electra arrived, Sheila found them a table despite their lack of a reservation.
After Sheila mentioned they had a brand-new waiter, Remy walked over and surprised Electra with his new job.
Will got an introduction to Remy and shook his hand. Remy confirmed that Electra had been part of his life for a long time and said they went to school together.
After Will said it was crazy that Remy ended up in LA, Remy dodged talking about that and suggested maybe he could get them a discount on their food.
Electra seemed happy about the idea of seeing Remy whenever they came to Il Giardino, but Will looked uneasy.
