The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) could use a new job now that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) has fired her from Glissade, but she keeps acting like she knows the ship has sailed at Chancellor-Winters.
However, that may not be true if Audra plays her cards right.
Could Audra ultimately steal Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) job and become a Genoa City power player once again?
Audra is growing closer to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and appreciates the fact that he’s a good guy instead of the bad boy she once pushed him to be.
That said, good girls are boring in Audra’s opinion, so she doesn’t seem poised to be one anytime soon!
In Y&R’s May 22 episode, Lily watched Audra wiping ice cream from Nate’s lip and immediately got perturbed over their flirty interaction.
It left Lily worried about the potential for Audra and Nate to join forces for troublemaking.
Of course, Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) doesn’t think Nate would trash the second chance he worked so hard to get with his family.
If Devon is right about that, Audra could end up double-crossing Nate at some point.
It’s easy to imagine Audra manipulating Nate, who may score info about Lily’s plan to dupe Billy into undoing the merger.
What if Audra decides to become Billy’s spy and shares updates on any helpful information that Nate offers?
If Audra becomes Billy’s ally and helps him maintain the power he’s already enjoying at Chancellor-Winters, then she could be handsomely rewarded.
Audra could call attention to Lily’s trick since she intends to bail on Billy and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) once they go along with dismantling the merger.
Billy might find out exactly what Lily’s up to in advance and blindside her by firing her before she can even carry out her plot.
That could pave the way for Audra to take over Lily’s CEO spot instead and leave Nate fuming over being used.
