The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) could use a new storyline ASAP, so many fans are rooting for some fun twists and turns to head her way.
Y&R has already set the stage for a big romantic development, but they haven’t moved forward with it yet.
Back when Sharon had that weird dream before her launch party, her mind tried to help her sort through some complicated feelings.
There were plenty of hints about a possible Sharon and Nick reunion in that dream, but nothing has come to fruition so far.
That could change if Sharon realizes Nick would still like to get back together.
At some point, Nick may find the courage to be honest with himself about the woman he truly wants to be with.
It might even happen sooner than expected due to Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) own bold actions.
In the March 11 episode, Phyllis will plant a kiss on Nick and try to get their spark going again.
Although Phyllis will suggest they can do a no-strings-attached arrangement if Nick wants, she’ll feel like they should at least cure each other’s loneliness for a while.
However, Nick doesn’t need another fling at this point in his life, especially not with Phyllis since they always crash and burn eventually.
It’s better for Nick to avoid another romantic disaster since that’s the only way things ever went when it comes to Phyllis’ relationships.
That said, Phyllis could sort of light Nick’s fire and put him on a path to pursuing someone else on canvas.
It’d be nice to see Nick find some clarity and courage, so maybe Phyllis will give him that.
A kiss from Phyllis might lead to Nick’s realization that he wants a different former flame back instead.
It’d be great if Nick could settle on Sharon as his endgame and take steps to make sure one last reunion happens.
Could Nick surprise Sharon with a romantic ambush at some point?
Will Nick plant a kiss of his own on Sharon and admit he still imagines their future as a couple?
