The Young and the Restless Spoilers Recap: Wednesday, May 1 – ‘Ms. Abbott’ Breaks Free – Nikki’s Horrible Betrayal Nightmare

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 1, reveals that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will summon Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) for a meeting at Crimson Lights.

Although Abby will hope to help ease the conflict at Chancellor-Winters, Billy will act like they’re past the point of a truce and will start trashing Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James).

After Abby says it sounds like Billy wants Devon out of the company, she’ll start ranting about how it’s Devon’s legacy as well as Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware).

Billy will claim he’s simply looking to create a little more room at the table, but Abby won’t believe him.

In the jazz lounge, Devon will meet with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to find out if he can trust him. After Devon complains about Billy trying to influence vulnerable Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and turn her against the family, he’ll make it clear that he wants to oust Billy.

Nate will initially act like maybe Devon’s overreacting, but then he’ll acknowledge that Devon is questioning his loyalty again and doubting Lily. With that in mind, Nate will think it’s best if Billy gets the boot.

Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will interrupt after overhearing the plan to get rid of Billy, but Devon won’t mind and will invite Chance to take updates back to Billy if he wants.

However, Chance won’t plan to deliver the news and will simply think all this petty infighting needs to end for the good of the company.

When Nate starts siding with Chance, Devon will find himself questioning where Nate’s loyalty lies again. Both Nate and Chance will insist they can be counted on to do what’s best for the company.

Devon will stand his ground on Billy needing to go and will assume Billy already knows he doesn’t want him at Chancellor-Winters.

At Society, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will find “Belle” aka Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) newest alter chatting with Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins), so she’ll assume Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) sent him to keep tabs.

After Jack meets Alan and joins their table, he’ll want to hear the story of how the friends met. “Belle” will struggle through a bunch of wrong details as Alan corrects her every step of the way, but she’ll brush it off as nothing.

Although “Belle” will hope to keep the party going, Alan will want to call it a night due to jetlag. “Belle” will take Alan back to his suite at the GCAC and flirt as she tries to invite herself inside, but he’ll think he’ll be more refreshed tomorrow.

Once “Belle” struts off, Jack will stop by Alan’s room to see what he thought of Ashley’s mental state. Alan will acknowledge that Ashley seems bubblier and isn’t her usual sophisticated self, but he’ll admit this could be her way of dealing with her breakup.

Alan will need to spend more time with Ashley before he can form a real opinion, but he’ll assure Jack that they all want Ashley healthy.

Next on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, “Belle” will head home and face off with “Ms. Abbott,” who’ll blast “Belle” for botching Alan’s test and will ultimately break free from her restraints.

While “Ms. Abbott” takes control of Ashley again, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be completely plastered in her suite at the athletic club.

That’s where Nikki will complain about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) concerned attempts to reach her by phone.

After Nikki insists she deserves this, she’ll add that she’s exactly where she wants to be and will guzzle more vodka. Nikki will eventually go for another bottle before briefly realizing she should call Jack for help.

Unfortunately, Nikki will drink more instead and eventually pass out on the bed. That’ll lead to Nikki’s horrible dream about her family turning against her.

In this nightmare, Victor, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will all blame Nikki for unleashing Jordan (Colleen Zenk) on their family. Although Nikki will plead for another chance to get sober, Victor and the others will act like she’s all out of them.

Victor will also rip into Nikki for only running to Jack for help and will order her off the ranch before she awakens back in her GCAC room.

Once Nikki stumbles out in the hall, Jack will spot her and chase her back to her suite. Although Nikki will try to shut the door on Jack, he’ll refuse to go anywhere as he stands his ground.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will do whatever he can to help Nikki, so we’ll bring you predictions on the rough night ahead.
