In tonight’s America’s Got Talent episode, it was the last night of the auditions. There are no more Golden Buzzers to hand out. Which just meant that everyone had to bring it tonight. Seva and his younger brother were up first. Seva and Yaroslav hang out often for the most part because they both love acrobatics. They were originally from Kazakhstan. They now live in California. It’s been an adjustment because they find that kids their age were focusing on basketball or football and here they wanted to bring acrobatics into the Olympics one day.

They were incredibly talented. Seva threw Yaroslav around like he weighed nothing. They put on a great show. Howie even pointed out that they see balance and strength acts from older people. They’ve never seen kids do it before. They were blown away by how talented the brothers are. They were given yesses and will be advancing. Next up was B Unique Crew from India. The group was created to compete against another crew called Unreal. Unreal got the Golden Buzzer earlier this season. And again that was no longer a possibility tonight.

B Unique still pointed on a show. It was a former member of Unreal that started the group and the show was good. It admittedly started a little slow. It thankfully picked up speed before long and it wasn’t just a mere repeat of the other crew. These dancers made their act into their own. It still had that creepy edge because human beings should not be able to bend that way. It also impressed three out of four judges. The only one with complaints was Simon. Simon said the act felt too small. He still said yes and so did the others. And so Simon just likes complaining.

A comedian advanced as well. The majority of his act happened during the commercial break and so people lost out on some valuable comedy. He had the audience laughing. Matt was also directly followed by another standup comedian, his wife. Her name is Julia. She was just as funny. Some felt her act was a little bit better than her husband’s. She also was super supportive. She liked that her husband got four yesses and she wanted them too. Julia got just that when the judges gave their ruling.

There were also some rejections. There was a band that didn’t make it through. There was a boring dancing team that shamelessly danced to the Spice Girls. They didn’t get through either. Then came Alex Blanchard. She’s from Liverpool. She traveled nearly twelve hours to be there and was a dancer. A solo dancer. Time has shown that those don’t do well on AGT and so Alex switched things up. She put on an impressive show. She commanded the stage through dance and a little bit of acrobatics thrown in. She’s advancing to that impressive skillset she displayed tonight.

Alex was then followed by Avalon Penrose. She was a childhood opera singer. She ended up quitting opera very dramatically at age fourteen. She was having panic attacks every time she performed and now over fourteen years later – she felt strong enough to return to the stage. She also added a silliness that was unnecessary. She performed. She had people throw stuff at her during her performance and it was very silly. Not everyone appreciated it. Mel B’s rejection button got pressed. Howie and Simon actually joined in.

Howie even got a pie to the face. It was a very messy stage because it turned into a food/paint fight. Terry took part. Both Sofia and Mel tried to hide under the desk and made a run for it when that didn’t work. Avalon helped ended the auditions on the happiest of notes. She was rewarded with four yesses. Now that the auditions were over, it was finally a chance to reveal who made it to week one of the live shows. The country musician named Steve Ray Ladson was going through, the dance team called B Unique Crew, another dance team called Loco Pop Familia, and a singing group called CitiLimitz.

There was the scary clowns magical act called Phobias. Shuler King the comedian will also be joining. Tom Sandoval was also making his comeback on AGT this season with his band. The married couple with their act called Sirca Marea, the dance team named Lightwire, the singer Charity Lockhart, and singer Jourdan Blue all rounded out the first week of the live shows. Leo High School Choir, singer Ben Hightower, magician Alain Simonov, guitarist/singer Bay Melnik Virgilio, dancer Alex Zinger, and singer/rapper Mama Duke were just some of the names for week two of the live show.

Boston Dynamics was a drone dance act. They were going through as well. There was a juggling act called Jonglissimo, Duo Stardust proved that proved rollerblading could be an act with some additional flair, and Unreal rounded out week two of the live shows. Micah Palace, Maceo Harrison, Benn Family Band, Anna Saranina, Austin Brown, Chris Turner, Girish and the Chronicles, Jacqueline and Wagner were some of the faces of week three. They joined the Messoudi Brothers, Mastermind, and Jessica Sanchez.

There was just one last group left – week four quarterfinalists. Team Recycled, Zak Mirz, Chuck Adams, Gendai, Cole Swensen and Judy, TT Boys, Crash Adams, Astrid Jorgenson, The Funkateer Dancers, Birmingham Youth Fellowship Choir, and the BoykinZ will be onstage in about four weeks. And so

THE END!
