Beyond the Gates spoilers for Thursday, May 22, suggest Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) and Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) will once again get into it, and it sounds like the mom will be in la-la land, as her daughter tries to set her straight.
During the Wednesday, May 21 episode, Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) questioned Eva about the night of Laura Peterson’s (Destiny Love) crash.
Thankfully, Eva had an alibi, which released her from any link to the crime.
Still, Eva did not throw her mom under the bus, as she should’ve even though her mom confessed to it, as well as the potassium injection that caused Laura’s additional infection.
Leslie caught wind of what Eva did, and she was pleased with her daughter’s move.
It proved to her that Eva still loved her, which means Leslie will be riding high during the May 22 episode.
Added teasers suggest that Eva will push back on whatever ‘delusion’ Leslie spews, so these two may have yet another face-off as they figure out where to go next when it comes to their relationship.
Speaking of figuring out “what’s next”, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) and fellow Articulettes’ groupmate, Tracy (Maria Howell) will try to move forward by clearing up some issues from their past.
The two have made tremendous progress, so will they continue on this path or regress?
Anita would love nothing more than an Articulettes reunion; however, she and Tracy need to get on the same page, so they can then convince a stubborn Sharon to get on board, too.
Will Anita make amends with Tracy? Fans will have to tune in to find out!
Finally, Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson), along with his daughter, Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Muhammad), and estranged wife Nicole Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix), will come to a horrific revelation about Leslie.
Considering how Leslie is slowly but surely letting her crazy show, they’ll believe she might be far more toxic than they initially thought. You think?
While Kat is on the right path, believing that Leslie could’ve run Laura down and injected potassium in her IV bag, her only downfall is that she can’t shake the fact that Eva is connected to all this, too.
Fans know Eva is a victim of her mom’s toxicity, so here’s hoping Kat can realize this soon.
Still, the good news is that it seems like Ted and Nicole will be somewhat on speaking terms during the Thursday, May 22 episode, so this is positive progress for fans who would love to see the couple back together again!
Beyond the Gates spoilers hint that, as crazy as Leslie is, she’s crafty, too. She’s also very good at manipulating people and falling through the cracks of justice, so if Ted, Kat, and Nicole want to nab her for anything, they’ll have to get a lot sneakier to do so!
