On tonight’s Big Brother episode, Keanu, Keanu, Keanu! He knew he was the biggest target of the night. He tried something last week. He deliberately made himself the biggest target with his statements and it didn’t work. He got off the block last week thanks to the Veto Queen however no one thought he could do it again.
Not that Keanu was all that bothered. Keanu suspected his nomination was coming. He wasn’t angry at Lauren. The angriest was Will. Will kept saying it was a weak move whenever he gets nominated. Kelley wasn’t upset at all because she volunteered to be a pawn. She knew she wasn’t the target and she’s taken herself off the block twice now.
Will was still pretty upset. Lauren heard how angry he was. She later sought him out to apologize in person. She talked a lot about making big moves and then she became HOH. She realized she wanted to get through a near bloodless week. No one wanted to make big moves right now in case it backfires.
Will said if he became HOH that everyone that nominated him would go up on the block. He wasn’t going to apologize to nobody for nominating his targets. Will instead was going to focus on winning Veto.
Will really wanted Veto. He planned on using it on himself. He was also worried about replacement nominees. He thought Ashley might get nominated if there was a vacancy and he didn’t want that for her. The two of them have grown really close. After the shower incident, Ashley showed that she was a very intelligent young woman.
Will respects her. She returned that feeling because there’s no one she trusts more than Will. It didn’t matter that she didn’t know who Clark Kent was. She knew who Superman was and Zach in glasses gave her a great example of Clark Kent.
Zach was also involved in a somewhat love triangle. Morgan likes Zach. Zach likes Lauren. Lauren wants to play Big Brother. It’s very awkward. Zach doesn’t want to pressure Lauren or it might drive her off.
He also can’t tell Morgan he wasn’t interested in her or else it might turn her against him. Ava was also asked if she liked anyone in the house for a potential showmance. She didn’t want Zach because he was too clean. She loves her boyfriend but given the option she would totally go after Rachel.
Then came time for the Veto competition. Will chose Ashley to play. Ashley was his closest ally in the house and she’s won Veto once before. The one person that didn’t want to be picked for the Veto competition was Vinny. Vinny promised three people three separate things. He promised to help Kelley if he won.
He promised to help Keanu if he won. He promised Lauren that he’d keep the nominees the same. He was hoping to not get chosen and unfortunately he did. He dug himself into such a hole that he had no idea how to get out of it.
The only way forward was for him to throw the competition. Vinny just didn’t realize that right away. He first saw Veto as an opportunity for himself. He could use Veto to keep himself safe down the line. The winer also gets to attend an advance screening of “Bad Guys 2” with a few friends.
Rachel was super excited about that one. She saw the first movie with her kids and would love to tell them about it. For this Veto competition, they didn’t have to solve a crime. They had to commit a crime. They had to steal a crystal the fastest and escape the laser security.
What they didn’t expect was that the crystal would be huge as well as weirdly shaped. It’s hard to escape with that crystal. Ashley was first and she needed a second chance to do it.
Vinny realized he had to throw the competition by then. He tried to delay himself as much as possible. Just not too slow where it looked like he was throwing the competition. He got lucky when he saw how giant the crystal was. It tripped him up to the point that he loved it. He said winning right after all that would upset him too much.
Lauren was the quickest to the crystal. Only the crystal probably was bigger than her. Keanu started out rough and got better coming back with the crystal. Vinny came in third. Lauren got second. The winner of the Veto competition was Keanu. Keanu surprised everyone by taking himself off the block.
He was safe another week. Lauren has to nominate someone else. She has to come up with a fourth nominee and both Kelley and Will have to put their hope on BB Block Buster. Or the pawns might find themselves going home.
Lauren tried to be safe. She nominated everyone that was nominated last week. Keanu was now out of the picture and that left two options if she wants to continue the trend. She could either nominate Ashley or Adrian. Adrian has already said he’d view it as an act of war if he gets nominated.
Ashley suspected she might get nominated because of the shower thing. Vinny spoke to Lauren. He told her upfront that he was biased. He was enemies with Ashley. He wanted Ashley gone. Rachel saw that he was talking to Lauren and so she tried to sway Lauren.
Rachel talked to Lauren privately. She told her that she shouldn’t let anyone control her HOH for her. She then implied that Vinny couldn’t be trusted because she said what guy in his thirties remains unemployed. There was no need to there, Rachel. Lauren was also smart enough to realize the manipulation.
She told Vinny that Rachel seemed out for him and he was confused. They haven’t really talked gameplay. She was a legend. Vinny knew he could never defeat her and didn’t try. He wondered what he did to upset her.
Keanu chose Jimmy, Rachel, and Ava to go with him to the advance screening. It was the unlikeliest crew ever because he was beefing with two of them openly. The third beef was undercover.
Keanu must have been in a great mood after winning Veto. It was the only explanation. The rest of the house was declaring war no matter what choice Lauren made. Lauren ultimately decided to nominate Adrian because she thought that was safer. And she hadn’t realized that Adrian also had plenty of allies.
Vinny meanwhile was simply happy to fly under the radar with Rachel again.
THE END!
