On tonight’s Big Brother episode, Ava was the most heartbroken that Will left. The two were close. They played the game the same way. They rarely picked a fight with anyone and stayed under the radar for the most part. The one person that Ava could rely on now that Will was gone is Lauren. They started out rather close. Until they began to align with opposite sides of the house. They’ve now gotten closer with so few of them left. They began working together again. Lauren needed her because she didn’t have many allies. She has Kelley and she has Ava. She couldn’t rely on Vinny because Vinny was having an emotional affair with Morgan.
The same Morgan that Lauren recently nominated. It was a plan to backdoor Keanu. Which didn’t work because Keanu was still there. He was more upset than ever. He wanted Lauren out and Morgan was fanning the flames on that hatred. Morgan wanted Vinny for herself. She knows he has a girlfriend in the real world. They weren’t sleeping sleeping together but were still sleeping together. They were carrying on an emotional affair and were literally sharing the same bed at night. Kelley tried to use that last one to her advantage.
Kelley has a final two with Keanu. She was worried he wouldn’t honor that if he keeps working with Vinny. Kelley then tried to distance them. She told Vinny that Keanu thought he was cheating on his girlfriend with Morgan. Vinny wasn’t upset by that because he said the house was watched 24/7. He didn’t actually cheat. His emotional affair was just an open secret that everybody talks about. This included Zingbot. Zingbot returned to spill the tea. He called Lauren boring. He called Ashley unmemorable and Rachel’s follower.
He called Kelley weird. Kelley does collect dead bugs. She also drew a pentagram with a lemon peel. Zingbot told Ava that she dressed like a hobo. Keanu was accused of smelling and peeing on the bathroom floor. It was either him or Vinny at this point because they were the only guys left in the house. Keanu swore it wasn’t him. Then Zingbot got around to Vinny. He reminded him that he was a thirty-something crybaby that was unemployed and living in his parents’ house. It wasn’t a zing because Zingbot said life got to him first. And then Zingbot got to Morgan.
Zingbot asked what person does everything she does to Vinny is called? The answer was his girlfriend. Morgan went into a tailspin afterwards. She called it the cruelest thing that Zingbot said that day. She stormed off. Vinny went after her. Vinny tried to defuse things. He told her that people don’t really think that and that’s not true. The whole house thinks they’re having an emotional affair. Kelley wasn’t wrong when she said what she said. Keanu later pulled Vinny aside to tell him that it is a thing because Morgan has been acting out of pocket.
They share a bed. Morgan seemed to hate to be reminded of his actual girlfriend. Or his closeness to Lauren. Maybe she acts this way with other guy friends! Maybe she doesn’t. Keanu doesn’t know. He just knows what it looks like. It wasn’t looking good. Vinny was hurt because he didn’t want his girlfriend to believe he was cheating or having an emotional affair. Vinny also didn’t want to tell Morgan to stop being herself. She was his ally in this house. He couldn’t afford to lose the numbers and so he couldn’t risk upsetting her.
Then there was the HOH competition. It was a game of true or false from what the Zingbot said. It came down to Kelley and Vinny. The last question involved math. Kelley was horrible at math. It was her one weakness. She got the answer so wrong and Vinny was closer to the reality. Vinny won HOH for the third time. He was considering nominating Keanu because of the cheating island comment. He also didn’t like how Keanu had nominated him to teach him a lesson. The truth was that they have never been allies. They claimed they were. They said it to each other and it had all been lies.
Vinny told literally everyone that they were his final two except for Keanu. Vinny has repeatedly betrayed Keanu. Keanu getting his own back by nominating him and make a smart remark was him hitting back. Another thing Vinny didn’t like. Keanu was practically a given as a nominee. The same for Kelley and possibly Ava. Vinny was heading that way when Morgan got in his ear. Morgan told him to nominate Lauren. Lauren hasn’t been nominated once in ten weeks. She was untouchable. Morgan suggested putting her up as a pawn.
What she said made sense to Vinny. Vinny talked to Lauren. He asked her if she was willing to be a pawn. She wasn’t and she was starting to realize he wasn’t allies with anyone. He betrays them all in the end. He did that with everyone. Lauren was so upset with him that she didn’t care that he didn’t later nominate her. She was more upset that he just thought it. Vinny nominated Keanu, Kelley, and Ava. Ava knew it was coming. She even brought a pawn’s piece from the chess set to show everyone that she refuses to be anyone’s pawn.
Ava made a speech. She didn’t wait for Vinny to finish what she had to say. She said watch out because she was now going to play for keeps. Ava was well-protected in the house. Or at least she was until she made a whole speech about the house better look out. The nominees all saw this coming. This included Keanu. He spoke with Vinny and Vinny threw what he said back in his face. His speech during the nomination ceremony to Keanu was that he didn’t believe Keanu respects his game or him.
Keanu doesn’t respect his game. He finally admitted in his confessional. He said its hard to respect it when it’s usually crying about decisions he made that were not understandable to anyone else. Keanu kept zinging him in his confessional too. He said he’s seen tears, heard complaining, and that was just Vinny. He realized that he was in a sorority house. It came about because the girls did a dance celebrating themselves and he realized he was one of two guys left in the house. It was fine for him because he has sisters.
But Keanu didn’t remember to check the bathroom before he opened a door. The last one was important because Keanu chose Morgan over Ashley to play in the Veto competition and he was explaining himself to Ashley later on in the bathroom. He was telling her that Vinny promised to nominate Lauren if his current nominees change. Keanu joined with Morgan to get Lauren on the block. Keanu thinks Morgan will play Veto and Ashley said that’s only possible if Vinny swears to her that he’s going to nominate Lauren.
If it looks like Vinny would lean towards nominating Ashley, Morgan won’t risk changing the noms. They had this whole conversation with Ava on the toilet and Keanu soon realized that when he opened the door. He heard Ava’s voice. He closed the door. He quickly left only the damage was done. Ava heard everything. She went running to Lauren. She told Lauren what Vinny has been telling people. Lauren then said something that perfectly defines Vinny. Vinny was good at telling everyone what they wanted to hear as long as he was safe.
Lauren was also playing in the Veto competition. She wants to protect either Ava or Kelley. They were her chief allies. Real allies. Not whatever Vinny was doing because Vinny admitted to being torn if he has to make a renom. It would either be Ashley or Lauren. He nominated Ashley week one. He was torn with nominating he or Lauren. Those were his words. “Torn” he said! Lauren knew right then that she couldn’t trust him. She was glad to be playing in the Veto competition. Vinny actually wanted her to win over Morgan.
It sadly just didn’t happen.
Later, Morgan was quick to understand how to win the Veto competition. They had to balance twenty-five balls on a spyglass. Morgan was the first to do it and so she won Veto. She won it then she tried to figure out how to use it. She was approached by two people. Keanu and Ava. Ava made the better case because protecting Keanu would have put a target on Morgan’s back. Morgan chose to use Veto on Ava. And Vinny ultimately nominated Lauren to fill Ava’s spot.
Vinny finally chose his final two and its Morgan.
