Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, October 9, state the show will celebrate four decades of Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves), while her grandson, Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher), will have a major demand.
The DOOL October 9 episode will be chalk-filled with flashbacks and memories of Jenn’s life in Salem.
As a pivotal Days character for over 40 years, fans will watch Jennifer reminisce over good times and bad with husband, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes).
With that said, it won’t only be feel-good moments, as Thomas will demand something massive.
Thanks to his cousin, Rachel Black (Alice Halsey), the little boy found out his father, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), is dating Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord).
As if the sting of Chad lying to him wasn’t enough, he also discovered that Cat had pretended to be his late mother, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) when she first came to town.
Thomas was outraged when he confronted his father about this recently.
As such, it sounds like Thomas may put his foot down and tell his father it’s either Cat or him.
Meanwhile, Chad will have a chat with Cat, and he’ll relay some ugly truths.
Chad will likely tell Cat about Thomas, what he’s learned about their romance, and how he found out about Cat’s deception when she first came to Salem.
But will he also tell her about Thomas’s ultimatum? Will he talk to Cat first and then Thomas, or vice versa?
Will Chad break up with Cat during the Days October 9 show? Fans will have to tune in to find out!
Finally, JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) will continue to feel conflicted.
While accidentally shooting Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) from back in the day was seemingly water under the bridge, Theo doesn’t seem to think so.
It’s not so much that Theo still has a problem with JJ or hasn’t forgiven him; he just has an issue with the man being reinstated as a police officer at the Salem police department.
Days of Our Lives spoilers note that JJ has been second-guessing his decision since, but Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) seems to believe in the cop’s abilities to serve and protect, so what happens next?
