General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, January 21, reveals that Ava Jerome (Maura West) ran into Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) by the docks, which led to her admitting she understood Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) pain and wouldn’t wish his burns on anyone.
That said, Ava took a jab about Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) enemy hopefully hitting their target next time and set Kristina off.
After Ava ranted about Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) safety and said Kristina would still need to testify in the custody case, Kristina left in a huff.
Alexis warned Ava to steer clear of Kristina and wondered how she’d feel if Avery was being treated this way, but Ava took off.
Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) showed up and invited Alexis to Wyndemere, but she had no interest in visiting the old Cassadine haunt and insisted on conducting their business right there.
Sidwell acquired the title to Spoon Island and seemed intrigued over Alexis having no sentimentality at all when it came to things related to the Cassadine family.
At the PCPD, Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) wanted Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) charged with kidnapping and obstruction of justice.
After Drew and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) complained to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), the police commissioner quizzed her.
Tracy pretended she didn’t remember where Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) had taken Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) and their nanny.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) eventually arrived, so Anna pushed him to try getting Tracy to spill. When that still didn’t work, Tracy was prepared for booking and a night in jail.
Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) also came to the police station with updates on the incendiary device, which was used for black ops.
Anna questioned if Brennan might’ve been behind this, but she believed him when he denied it.
In Michael’s room at GH, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) explained the options and got confirmation that her son wanted to head to the clinic in Germany.
Michael was in a lot of pain, but he managed to say Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) name and seemingly wanted to see her.
Carly relayed that news when she rejoined Sonny, Willow and Jason, so Willow seemed suspicious and irritated over Michael’s Sasha request.
While they were waiting for Sasha to be tracked down, Willow insisted on speaking with her husband.
Back in Michael’s room, Willow let him know that she was sorry for everything that had happened.
Since Michael made her a mother twice, Willow insisted she’d always love him.
Willow explained that the kids only knew Michael was hurt and suggested they would visit as soon as he’d recovered enough.
Michael remained in a great deal of pain, so his monitors eventually went haywire as his body struggled to cope.
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) wound up having to sedate Michael again since his system couldn’t handle being awake any longer.
Although Michael was stable enough for transport, he wasn’t able to talk to Sasha when she showed up.
Carly briefly blamed Willow for Michael’s distress, but she settled down.
When Drew arrived, he acted like Carly must’ve influenced Michael’s Germany decision, but Willow confirmed Michael wanted it.
Once Carly revealed that the medical jet was waiting with a private nurse on board, she left for the airport to accompany Michael to the German clinic.
Carly shared a moment of gratitude with Brennan before the plane’s takeoff.
SOD confirms that the January 21 episode was Chad Duell’s final airdate as Michael Corinthos.
At Deception, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) warned Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) about it not being safe to be around Sonny.
Sasha eventually shared news about Michael’s clinic transport, so Natalia went to see Sonny about a business deal they might not have to delay after all.
In Sonny’s office, he seemed like he was trying to hide some chest pain and tightness during a confrontation with Ava.
After Ava ranted about getting Avery back and stomped off, Sonny collapsed to the floor.
Back at the GH chapel, Willow was shocked to learn Drew had Tracy arrested.
Drew acknowledged that Willow had less leverage now that Michael was being transferred, but he hoped a night in jail would make Tracy reveal where the kids were.
Jason ultimately showed up and found Drew with Willow, so he gave them his best “Stone Cold” stare.
General Hospital spoilers say Jason will have a peaceful proposal for Willow and Drew soon enough, so we’ll bring you more predictions on how they’ll react.
