General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, March 26, reveals that Ava Jerome (Maura West) wanted deceased Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) inheritance for Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) while Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) made an ominous vow in the cemetery.
At Deception, Emma Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) interrupted Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) shouting match with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) before Lulu took off.
Soon after, Brook Lynn got updates on Gio and Emma’s recent pitch to Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) about their plan to save the Quartermaine crypt.
Although Brook Lynn didn’t think Emma and Gio should get tangled up in all the Q drama, she agreed to speak with Ned and see what she could do.
Since Brook Lynn seemed busy with work, Gio and Emma discussed a new plan outside the door and decided to take their pitch to Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson).
At the Port Charles Grill, Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) got under Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) skin regarding the esplanade and Sonny’s influence on her.
However, Laura worked in some digs of her own since Ezra hadn’t been very forthcoming about his finances in the past.
Once Laura exited, Ezra talked to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) about Laura’s link to organized crime and acted like Jordan could be mayor instead if she played her cards right.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was having tea with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) when a livid Drew arrived.
Drew fumed over Curtis teaming up with Tracy, calling him “Drew Cain” in Aurora’s press conference coverage and finding ways to criticize him through fact-checking.
After Drew made it clear that he was willing to play ugly, he sought out Ezra and pushed for his help bulldozing the Quartermaine crypt as soon as possible.
At Sonny’s house on Wednesday’s GH episode, his medical crisis continued.
Ava kept taunting Sonny and talked about how horrible it was to be in need with no one willing to help.
Kristina popped back up and realized Sonny was in distress, so she ran to her father’s side on the floor.
Since Ava hadn’t given Sonny his pills or made any effort to assist him, Kristina flew into a rage.
Ava made excuses, but Kristina pushed her to leave and focused on being there for her dad.
Sonny was unconscious by then, but he ultimately woke up and insisted Kristina should call Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).
After Sonny took a heart pill and got checked out by the doc later, Isaiah pushed him to move forward with the surgery he needed ASAP.
However, Sonny wanted to get a security issue squared away before he had the procedure.
When Laura showed up and saw Isaiah, she looked suspicious and concerned.
Sonny trusted Laura with news regarding his heart problem and upcoming surgery, so she agreed to keep his condition a secret.
Once Ava met up with Ric, she spilled what just went down at Sonny’s place.
Ava pointed out that Sonny had pills and assumed he had a serious medical issue – one that could work to her advantage when it came to custody.
Ava even considered the possibility that Sonny could pass away – and if that happened, she made a prediction about the inheritance Avery would receive taking care of everything.
In the cemetery, Kristina spoke about Ava at her daughter’s grave and ranted about her never being held accountable.
Since Kristina refused to lose any more family members at Ava’s hands, she declared that she had to stop her!
At the Quartermaine boathouse, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) heard a noise and found Lulu using a bat to smack James West’s (Gary James Fuller) giant stuffed frog.
Lulu complained about all the latest drama with Brook Lynn and the secrets that had been kept regarding Dante.
Cody gave Lulu a pep talk and was willing to let her vent to him anytime she wanted.
General Hospital spoilers say Lulu and Brook Lynn’s feud will lead to more drama in the coming months, so stay tuned.
