In tonight’s Sister Wives episode, most of the wives realized that Kody had a bias. Does Robyn think so as well? Robyn was asked that tonight and she doesn’t think there was a bias. She even saw a clip of Kody shutting Janelle down for Robyn. Janelle called Robyn the sacred cow.

Robyn doesn’t know what that means or so she’s claiming. She just knows that she’s often painted as the bad guy. The funniest thing is that Janelle agreed with her. Janelle thinks a lot of the family blames Robyn was breaking up the family and she didn’t. The blame lies solely on Kody.

Janelle thinks that Kody became more selfish over time. She doesn’t think Robyn intentionally ruined his relationships with the other wives. She saw how willing Robyn wanted to fit in. She believes that Robyn entered the family wanting to be a part of the plural family. It was Kody that changed.

He became meaner to everyone else. He stopped making an effort. He focused on Robyn. He stopped wanting the others and they noticed. Janelle brought up Robyn in that conversation from earlier because she had questions.

Janelle was talking to Kody about what it would take to make their relationship work. She wanted to be able to talk to him. She wanted clarity with him on what she meant to him.

Kody wouldn’t go there because he refuses to discuss Robyn with the others. It all came about after Janelle wanted to know how he learned about a conversation she had privately with Robyn. It was clear Robyn told him. Janelle wanted that confirmation. Kody couldn’t give it. She knew right then she couldn’t have an open and honest conversation with him.

Not anymore.

Janelle and Kody used to have a great relationship. Janelle was pragmatic. She’s always been that way. She found a way to make it work with Meri. They made room for Christine when she joined the family.

Janelle didn’t mind sharing him. Not when she was treated with respect. It was when Kody started to change and playing these games that got her upset. The final nail in the coffin happened during covid because he asked her to choose him over their children. He wanted to kick two of their boys out of her house. And she told him to go to hell.

Kody wasn’t coming over to her house all that much. When he did show up, he was refusing to engage. He shut them out for not being Robyn. He said Robyn was the great love of his life.

He also went full revisionist by claiming that he never truly loved the others. The exes got upset with that one. Kody also upset them with his behavior with Meri after their divorce came through. They had the official divorce so that Kody could adopt Robyn’s kids from a previous marriage. It was the spiritual marriage coming to an end that brought out the weirdest reaction from Kody.

Kody laughed with Meri again. They shared jokes. Some of those jokes were on the risqué side. Meri accidentally backed into Kody when they were moving her stuff out and he felt two ways about it. There was a part of him that found it funny. There was another part that felt it was awkward.

He considered it inappropriate to his marriage with Robyn. Kody had become a monogamist by then. He was worried how Robyn would feel and he didn’t let loose until later. He started laughing with Meri again. Kody went as far as to mourn their relationship when she moved to Utah.

It was weird to Meri. Their marriage had been over for a long time. Kody did everything to push her away and now he was mourning them when it was finally over? Meri just felt awkward seeing him in tears. His other exes thought that was inconsiderate. The same with giving Meri the title of favorite ex-wife.

Christine asked why does he always have to have a favorite with everything? It was also annoying that Kody offered to walk Meri down the aisle if she ever remarries again. She was released from the grief of their marriage and he still wanted to be a part of her story going forward.

It’s good that they could be friends again now. They just weren’t going to be that friendly. Kody also doesn’t get to say he’s still grieving their marriage. He doesn’t get to put that burden back on her. Meri told him to cut it out. He will not be walking her down the aisle. Nor will he for the others.

Kody met Christine’s then fiancée at the engagement party for one of their kids. He told their daughter at first that he wasn’t coming. He then changed his mind to say both he and Robyn were coming. Christine was so angry with him for throwing everything in chaos.

She thought it was typical Kody. It’s what he did all the time towards the end of their marriage. He suddenly wanted to be involved and they had to rearrange everything to make him fit into their lives. Kody met David. He acknowledges their first encounter was very cringey. The others felt the same. Robyn said that Kody wasn’t getting red and that was just his complexion. And they laughed about the encounter now.

But it’s a shame that Meri wasn’t close to her former sister wives now that there were three of them in the same boat.

THE END!
