In tonight’s Survivor episode, Alex was gone tonight. This undercover alliance between Rizo, Sophi, and Savannah has now achieved clear cut success. They went from the underdogs to near running this game. They have plenty of people coming after them but those same people kept missing when the moment arrived.
Savannah was good at challenges. Sophi was good at being a spy. Rizo was good at being a salesperson. He managed to sell his load of crap last week and that’s why Alex is gone. He turned the majority against the man by saying he’s loyal to no one. And that was the truth because Alex tried to stay sitting on the fence.
What Rizo lied about was what Alex was saying behind everyone’s back. Alex wasn’t that sloppy. He really tried to be everyone’s friend. He didn’t sink anyone and they forgot that because Rizo’s sales pitches won. Rizo even managed to hold onto his idol another day. They were naturally some that were upset after the last tribal.
Kristina and Steven especially took it the hardest because they went from knowing everything to being left out of the vote. They felt vulnerable. Kristine was a little safer than her friend. She has an idol while Steven does not.
The knives were out for them.
Steven apologized to Soph for writing down her name. He wanted to make peace. Soph pretended like she forgave him when she really didn’t. Soph couldn’t wait to get him out in retaliation. Sage also was willing to betray Steven as well. She told Jawan about Kristina’s idol. Steven swore Sage to secrecy and she waited a day before telling her number one.
Jawan couldn’t believe Steven. He became upset with him. He was upset that Steven, who he thought he could rely on, had in fact kept this huge secret from him. He told Sage. Just not Jawan.
Jawan tried to test Steven later on. He danced around the topic of idols. He tried to get Steven to come clean with him and Steven ignored every opportunity he was presented with. It showed Jawan that Steven trusted Sage more than he did him.
Steven must have sensed where the wind was blowing because he had a frank conversation with Kristina. He told her that he felt his name was going to get written down. Kristina has an idol. She also wasn’t good at challenges. She wasn’t much of a threat. Steven was.
The pressure all caught up to Kristina. She tried to smile at the next Reward Challenge and she couldn’t do it. It was physically impossible for her. All Kristina wanted in that moment was her mother. Her mother has long since passed. Its an ache that Kristina can’t recover from because she had a great mom.
Her mom was someone everyone wanted to be around. They made five hundred pamphlets for the funeral and ran out because everyone wanted to be there to support the family over this loss.
Kristina being so vulnerable had helped her connect with some of the others. Not that she was dropping her guard. She was still worried about being targeted. She knows now that friendships on this island rarely carry over to tribal. Kristina was a part of the yellow team at the Reward Challenge. She did her part and tried to earn rewards.
Her team sadly lost. She, Savannah, Rizo, and Jawan were left without a reward. They were so depressed when they got back to the beach that Jawan tried to turn things around by fishing. He caught one small fish and, you know what, good for him.
Jawan has never fished before. The fact that he managed to find something at all was a reward in itself. The Blue Team were enjoying hamburgers and hot dogs when once again the conversation went back to Savannah. \Sage wanted to target her. She thought Savannah must be feeling safe right now. She said it was the perfect time to target Savannah and she got both Jawan and Steven onboard. Kristina has wanted to get Savannah out for a while. She was down with the plan. It could be successful if Yellow Sophie agreed to it.
Sophie also spoke to the other side. They wanted to get out Steven. Steven was good at challenges. Then again so was Savannah. It was really up to whoever the Immunity Challenge. It helps that eventually challenge had only one necklace this time and so that lessen their chances at winning immunity.
It was a set of mini challenges turning into the big one. The winner was Yellow Sophie. She won Immunity. She was the deciding vote for whoever went home at tribal. She was in prime condition to become a real threat in the game.
Sage realized it. She told Savannah that Kristina has the idol. She was out there just telling everybody now. Sage told Sophie who told the other alliance. It made Savannah consider using her extra vote. The extra vote would be used to get out Sage. It was Sage’s plan to target Savannah first.
Things would’ve been so much simpler if they had just put their bets on Steven because now it was turning into a free for all. They all tried to make the last minute pitches and they all realized anything goes.
Kristina played her idol for Steven. Rizo gave a fake out idol. In the end, one side did manage to pull off a blindside because they ousted Jawan. Jawan was just too popular.
He was also Sage’s number one. This left her alone. Her side was without an idol. Thanks to Kristina using hers. Rizo still had his. It was a big move and it left four of them all the more closer to winning a million dollars thanks to Savannah using her extra vote tonight.
Jawan never saw it coming.
