The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Friday, January 24, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) agreed with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) about it being very “fortuitous” that Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) showed up wanting to collaborate. Steffy suggested it could be a game-changer and was sure Daphne was just as excited as Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) about this.
Meanwhile, Daphne got confirmation that incredible was what Carter was looking for, so she assured him that’s what he’d get.
After Daphne invaded Carter’s space and flirted a bit more, she signed the contract and left him delighted.
Once Carter was alone, he held the scarf Daphne gave him and looked thoughtful.
When Hope appeared looking for updates, Carter let her know Daphne was officially on board and left her tickled pink.
Back with Steffy, she had a secret meeting with Daphne and was pleased over the contract deal getting done.
Steffy assumed Hope was off celebrating with Carter and looked forward to ultimately ripping the company away from them.
At Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) mansion, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) admitted she didn’t look like Tom Starr (Clint Howard) or have any similar characteristics.
It left her wondering if Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) had used Tom to cover up the truth, but Bill thought this discussion was pointless.
Luna fixated on the idea that maybe her bio dad could be someone else, but Bill called it wishful thinking.
After Luna shared her guilt over targeting Tom, she suggested her actions were even worse if he wasn’t her father.
Something about Tom being the paternity answer always felt wrong to Luna, so she wished she could pry the truth out of Poppy.
At the hospital, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) was taken aback when the paternity test was negative and proved Luna wasn’t Jack Finnegan’s (Ted King) daughter.
It led to Li’s apologetic realization since she’d suspected an affair for years and always held it against Poppy.
If Li hadn’t had so much hate in her heart, she suggested she could’ve been there for Luna and prevented her crimes.
Li was sorry for acting like a madwoman over this paternity test and for how harshly she’d treated Poppy in the past.
After Li vowed to change and asked for Poppy’s forgiveness, the sisters shared an emotional hug.
Nearby, Jack also cried as he witnessed Poppy and Li’s warm embrace.
