The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Thursday, December 18, reveals that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) ended Deke Sharpe’s (Harrison Cone) Forrester career while Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) celebrated Katie Spencer’s (Heather Tom) decision.
At Forrester Creations, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) surprised Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) by revealing his cousin was back before Thomas strutted through the door.
Steffy enjoyed a happy reunion with Thomas, who announced that he was ready to work on Hope Logan Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) line again.
There was no need for green Deke since Thomas and Zende could handle it on their own.
Meanwhile, Deke worried about his future at Forrester since none of his designs were actually being used yet.
Hope reassured Deke that although Zende was more experienced and had the Forrester name behind him, she’d look out for her brother.
Over with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), he talked to Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly) about her remarriage to Bill and assumed Bill would let her down again.
Ridge acted like it’d be good for Katie to have stability at Forrester Creations when that happened. Brooke wanted to smooth things over with Katie and make sure she felt appreciated.
Next on Thursday’s B&B episode, Ridge found out about Thomas’ homecoming and his desire to come back to work on Hope for the Future.
In the showroom, Thomas gestured to the runway and Forrester logo before insisting this is where he belonged.
Thomas also took a jab about the pizzamaker’s son and played up how his own return to the line would be good for the company.
Steffy felt confident that she could get Hope on board since they were in a better place these days.
Even if Steffy couldn’t, she pointed out that it was her call to make along with Ridge.
Ridge spoke with Thomas alone and voiced concerns about Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri) since he loved his life in Paris.
Thomas insisted he wouldn’t have to drag Douglas away from it and could just pop into Los Angeles when necessary for the line.
Steffy eventually met with Hope and broke the news that Thomas had returned.
After Steffy revealed that Thomas wanted to make a comeback on Hope’s line, Hope questioned what this meant for Deke.
Although Steffy thought Deke had a bright future ahead of him, she admitted it wouldn’t be there at Forrester Creations.
At Spencer Publications, Katie gave Will updates on Bill’s fashion house wedding present.
Will was thrilled for Katie and backed Bill up as they tried to convince her to take the offer.
Katie feared this could negatively affect Will’s career at Forrester Creations, but he argued that he could always come to work at Spencer Publications.
Regardless, Will and Bill felt that Katie should go for it, so she finally decided to move forward with the fashion house.
That led to Katie enjoying a sweet embrace with Bill and Will.
