The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Tuesday, August 19, reveals that Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) had a mask idea while Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) downed spiked drinks. Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) also faced some Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) horror, so here’s how all Tuesday’s B&B action played out.
At Li’s place, she told Luna that she had to go out for the evening.
Although Li didn’t like leaving Luna on her own, Luna insisted she’d just watch a movie or something.
Li reminded Luna that no one else could know she was alive and said she planned to meet with an attorney soon to discuss a plan for her.
Luna hinted about having a plan of her own, but Li snapped about her needing to focus on reforming so she didn’t end up like Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park).
However, Luna clearly had no intention of staying cooped up for the night.
After looking at Electra Forrester’s (Laneya Grace) latest social media post and donning a disguise, Luna headed for Il Giardino and posed as a waitress there.
Meanwhile, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) welcomed Will and Electra to the promotion bash.
Once Deacon made sure everything was all set, he joined Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) for their own party for two at the apartment.
Although the guests didn’t need chaperones, Deacon still wanted to keep an eye on things and avoid any cop drama.
Sheila pointed out that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) could make any trouble go away, but Deacon argued that didn’t work out so well with Luna!
Deacon couldn’t help but think about Luna’s former internship and how she might’ve been promoted by now if she’d stayed on a better path.
According to Deacon, Luna might’ve been down there celebrating with Will if that were the case.
Sheila acknowledged that Luna would’ve liked that and wished she’d known Luna sooner so she could’ve helped her.
Back at Li’s place, she came home earlier than expected and hoped to watch Luna’s movie with her.
Instead, Li freaked out after seeing that Luna had vanished.
Sheila was alone and painting the few toenails she has left when Li called her with disturbing updates.
Li wondered if Luna was with Sheila, so Sheila was confused until Li admitted Luna was missing.
At the party, Lainey (Heidi Grace Engerman) flirted with Will and played up how great his promotion was, so Electra seemed a bit jealous. However, Will assured Electra that she was the only woman he was interested in.
Over with Zende, he found some masks left over from another celebration and suggested they could wear them.
Will didn’t think Deacon would mind, so everyone started digging into the box and picking out masks to wear.
Nearby, Luna slipped under the radar while wearing a wig and glasses.
Since Luna also had an Il Giardino uniform on, a bartender assumed she was employed there and had her cover for him at one point.
That bartender also noted that a particular bottle of booze was 180 proof, odorless and tasteless, so he suggested they shouldn’t even have it.
Luna gave it a sniff and confirmed she couldn’t smell anything.
Since the bartender didn’t want anybody mistaking the bottle for vodka, he instructed Luna to take it away from the bar.
Instead, Luna used the 180-proof liquor in the vodka sodas that Will kept ordering, so he got tipsy fast and started slurring his words slightly.
Will seemed overly enthusiastic as he thanked Deacon for the party and extra into it as he danced with Electra. After Will said he wanted Electra so bad, he kissed her on the dance floor.
As for Luna, she flashed that familiar mischievous smile of hers and hinted about tonight being Will’s lucky night!
